  1. I'm excited to see it come together for you clay. Keep me posted. I love seeing old cars on air that can be laid out.
  2. I can attest that launch control is completely awesome in these cars.
  3. Cool to see you take this on.
  4. Looks like this got funded so thanks to those that backed the project. I'm looking forward to another good book from him.
  5. Chandler, did you trade the vette in on the tow vehicle you needed to tow...the vette?
  6. Awesome. It's a good book and my son loves it.
  7. I'll be @ Mid Ohio June 10-12 with OVR PCA. Hopefully the car will be up to the task.
  8. Here's the kindle version if his first book which is great https://www.amazon.com/Little-Red-Racing-Car-Father-ebook/dp/B00M8U4A56?ie=UTF8&keywords=the%20little%20red%20racing%20car&qid=1464271636&ref_=sr_1_2&s=books&sr=1-2 I'm not sure if people are really selling the hard copies for the $300 they're asking but if so I may have to put mine up there. Haha
  9. For those of you with little ones Dwight Knowlton is making a new children's book. He's made 2 so far which I own both and they've been great. This one is called the Small Silver Speedster and is going to be a father/daughter story. If interested you need to sign up for the kick starter campaign soon: I can tell you this: the quality of the book will not disappoint and the book will always be delivered after the intended date. Haha.
  10. I've Ben meaning to make a project thread, just been too busy building the damn thing. The car had it's first shakedown track event this weekend. Despite an issue with it cutting power in certain turns that'll be a bitch to track down and fix, it was good overall. Got about 150 hard track miles on it.
  11. Actual ceramic 2000 degree coating on inside and outside of the pipe. I had done it previously in black and now they offer silver which I did. It came out well. I haven't done a track day with it yet but street pulls have it holding up just fine.
  12. As a comparison I recently had my downpipe done at Performance Powdercoating with their 2000 degree ceramic coating and it was $85.
  13. Boosted e46M3 is cool for sure. Welcome to the site.
  14. If you really bought them from Amazon, then you can return them without cost to you. I wouldn't expect Godspeed to do crap about it though so only return them if you're going to buy something else. Otherwise chalk it up as a learning experience on buying budget items and move on. As mentioned nobody will see them once on the car.
  15. LOL you could but probably not worth the effort.
  16. I watched it a couple years back and it was good. Worth it for sure.
  17. Congrats Brian. I know it's been a long road with many different turns but glad to see you get a break.
  18. Congrats on the Lotus that looks the business. Should be fun.
  19. I actually dig that. Needs small pink Suzuki emblems on the tank/tail to balance it out perfectly.
  20. Yeah. I could seem them when I posted that. Now they're gone. Haha. He only jacked up the front bumper. I thought he had gotten into the unibody/side skirts or something.
  21. That sucks that Mazda would get away from the suspension adjustments. Camber and to an extent caster are both adjustable on the FD. New parts are always fun. Any plans for the car's use or just upgrading street fun?
  22. I can see them. Shit could have been way worse.
  23. Are you going to track the car? If so get blanks as Chandler said. If not it won't matter and do whatever you want to look like. FWIW, Porsche doesn't "drill" their rotors they're cast with holes and it's done for weight savings.
