  1. That sucks man. We've all had those silly accidents happen and it blows. Is it too low to get a jack under or you just prefer ramps? Hopefully you can get it fixed up reasonably easy.
  2. Emissions and fuel efficiency are the downfall of the rotary. They can make plenty of torque with turbos compared to other smaller motors. I'm not holding my breath, but the concept car was gorgeous in my opinion and I'm always happy to hear that Mazda is continuing development of the rotary platform.
  3. Iseewhatyoudidtherewiththecrayonsandilikeit.
  4. Shitsfine. I still want Yasmin to get a Ferrari cause it's the only way I'll ever be able to drive one.
  5. Very true. I always tell people that I have 2 kids and he has 2 Porsches....or used to have 2. Lol
  6. CCW as well since they're owned by Weld?
  7. It wouldn't be as bad if Porsche didn't feel the need to make EVERYTHING tan. The tan dash, door panels, and steering wheel kill it.
  8. Bummer. That skyline is proper fucked. Always sucks to see a FD go down even if it was blue. Haha.
  9. rent a trailer, take it to Akron, and have the guy that does nothing but roll cages do it.
  10. I think I ran across an old 1G Logger cable with Palm attachment for a palm logger...haha. I have a 3000GT shift knob in good shape too. Just message me if you'd be interested. I'll have to check but I think I had an uncrushed 1g BOV too
  11. Whomever you choose, make sure you see other work they've done and you're comfortable with what you're getting. Saving even $500 isn't worth it if you get a death trap in the process.
  12. http://rollcageguy.com Out of Akron. Great work for reasonable money.
  13. I'm not knowledgable on LS motors, but in most I've dealt with the PCV to intake is purely for emissions purposes and helping scavenge the fumes. No need to run it to the intake if it's causing issues, but you'll want to run a catch can with a filter to release the pressure.
  14. As mentioned, if you have a title then any scrap yard will take it. That's what I did with my old FD shell. I think I got a whopping $45 or something for it. You could also use a sawzall and cut it into a bunch of pieces and put it in a dumpster if you really wanted, but that'd take a long time. I'd say craigslist is your next best option.
  15. Dang Matt. Couldn't even post the magazine pic right side up? Gonna make me search for it?
  16. In for recommendations. I have a completely unsealed blacktop driveway I'd like to get sealed and hear nothing but horror stories about every company.
  17. Good friend from growing up moved to Macedon for a job opportunity and to be by his wife's family. Just going to visit.
  18. Shitty. I'm driving Columbus to Rochester Friday, and then back Monday morning. Doh.
  19. Hey Ryan can you do ceramic coating as well?
  20. Milwaukee 3/8 electric ratchet is the shit. I also have a milwaukee 3/8 M12 impact. It's nice and small and light and will realistically do 45-ish ft lbs in removal strength which is pretty good for its small size.
  21. I don't think the terminator's shift light was bright enough...
  22. I wasn't upset at the wrecking comment. I killed the last one at the track and accept that's a possibility for the new one. Let just hope this one makes it 7+ years of track use like the old one first. Not that they're so epic, but they are a great driving/handling car. My old car at 320whp and 2800lbs was shockingly down Power wise compared to newer sports cars (GT3s, Zo6s, etc). Shit I had a guy in a Cayman run me down the back straight once. I'd also say that they can punch way above their weight class when it comes to money in that I can regularly beat 80% of the GT3s I come across and I'm not having to risk a $70k-$140k car on the track to do it. That being said, it's a labor of love as tracking one brings out all of the faults of running a 21 year old Mazda at the track and can be really frustrating. Probably why you don't see many tracked anymore. If you want simple, fast, and reasonably cheap in a track car there's only one real choice...C5Zo6
  23. I haven't given too much thought on the DE schedule past May or June. Too many variables. Haha. For the first date I'm considering either MORPCA @ Mid Ohio May 13-15 or more likely NNJRPCA @ Mid Ohio May 20-22. ON one hand MOR would be nice since it's club race weekend and I wouldn't have a student. On the other NNJR would give me an extra week that'll be needed to prep and it's the event I wrecked the last FD at. Might as well face that fear head on.
