One of the top 20 tracks in the country, it's great.
-
Best intro in quite a while! What brings you to Columbus? Good news is you'll be about an hour from Mid Ohio if you're looking for track days at a quality facility.

Cool to see it a rotary and I'd love to hear more about it, but in my mind that makes it harder to deliver to market. Not huge on the headlights but the rest of the car looks great to me. Still a good step for Mazda even if nothing else comes of it.
-
I still really like Mazda as a company. I've been glad that they've enjoyed good success with their Sky Active engineering and recent model lineup. That being said...it's still not confirmed that this is even a rotary yet right? And unless they've come up with some sweet magic (that I hope they have) they won't be able to make a rotary meet emissions and make the power to compete in today's environment. Even if it's a concept that never gets produced I'm still excited to see them at least trying things like this again. If it's a sweet little turbo 4-cyl coupe I'll be happy about that too.

We cut at the beginning of this year. Just moved I to a new place and I continued to sign up for only internet. Wow 30mb for $30/month. I'm an amazon subscriber so I have fire tv and watch that and have HD Antennas. Yes, we "gave up" being able to watch some shows we liked, but it didn't kill me. The only thing I've missed is F1 and when I've been able to watching this year it's been pretty boring. I'm likely going to buy a the first season if Mr. robot this winter to watch, but spending money on that is pretty easy to justify when I've saved $90+ a month this whole year.

Legacy Industrial Nohr-S Garage Application (pic heavy)
Smokey replied to bmwohio's topic in Pics and Vids
Great job Kale. I'm getting ready to do rust bullet on my new 2-car hopefully before the weather turns. -
I recently used Jim Troth at habitation. Spendy for the inspection but they did a great job, answered all of my questions, and provided a great report that was quite useful.
-
Completely awesome. Good luck with the build.

Marc should be your only stop for mortgage services...period. To echo Clay's recent thread here, you will not receive better service from another mortgage lender. Clay and I both work for one of the country's largest mortgage lenders and Marc's rates still beat our employee discount. On top of that I have no hesitation saying his level of service is better as well. Marc was great in dealing with my mayhem of trying to buy a home. In contract, delayed, out of contract, then back in contract and needing rushed appraisals and closing. He handled all of it easily and helped me with my dumb questions along the way.

Want to make me a custom text vinyl for an exterior window? If so, let me know how much.

I've had a bottle or 2 in my day. Haha. There's an Ohio liquor agency. You can call them and they can tell you if any stores sell Bowmore and where to get it. Otherwise any Islay whiskey is going to have a similar peat flavor just more or less of it. Something like Laphroig has so damn much it's like someone added liquid smoke to it.

I have one of these in good overall shape with just a few dirt/grease spots. http://www.autozone.com/covers-and-cover-accessories/vehicle-cover-custom/covercraft-ready-fit-car-cover/322917_0_0/ Should fit most medium cars and all small cars. Here are pics on my Rx7 for size reference. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/For%20Sale/1CFF6EA2-E085-4157-914A-0E23B9736768_zpstkjymqiw.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/For%20Sale/427E52D5-F7DD-4CF8-9A43-14427FF703C4_zps22tjvhyi.jpg $50

if you've got someone local that will store them for you I can drop them off. Or if you really want to ship them I can, but likely not worth it for wheels at this price point.
-
Yeah they look brand new too. Hopefully someone can put them to use. I'd keep them as a rain setup if they'd fit over my brakes.
-
I'm selling the stock setup off of my 94 because it won't fit over my intended brakes setup. Wheels are in good outward shape with one peeling center cap, one scratch on the spokes and one small bit of curb rash on the wheels. The barrels need some love and I didn't touch them before the pics. Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 in 225/50-16. Tires are in great shape and have TONS of life left on them. There's some small surface cracks around the bead but nothing alarming. The little wear there is has been even and there are no feathered treads. Tires ride nicely, stick decent, and are low on noise. There's between 9/32nds and 10/32nds on each tire. Wheels -$250 Tires -$250 Take them together for $400 http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/engine%20and%20suspension/B0F72B30-CC1E-41F7-93CF-FB739F9CA865_zpslollngek.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/engine%20and%20suspension/0092271D-929C-47C7-89B5-82FCDD6B1D15_zpseadqh4l8.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/engine%20and%20suspension/63B3CE76-6949-4953-8DEC-FF6E52344A8E_zps9ziqqzm3.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/engine%20and%20suspension/6086519A-A44F-4DCE-880A-E63DE98F8A99_zps5qcbgnus.jpg

Kids Loft Bed For SALE - Both have SOLD!!! Lock it up.
Smokey replied to TTQ B4U's topic in Other Stuff
I'll take the loft bed if they back out. -
Meh...shit was done in the 80s. Haha
-
Fucking. Awesome. Did the x-pipe make the exhaust note higher pitched as well? Made a huge difference on Andy's GT3.

As a current home buyer (and seller) I've had to go thru 2 radon tests now. Fear mongering about lung cancer aside (I have 2 small kids so they know how to hit those buttons) I can tell you one thing for certain: the real estate and inspection market have latched onto this subject and won't let go. What that means is even if you believe that a reading of 10 is fine, prospective buyers will always ask you to put in a mitigation system because otherwise they'll be doing it down the road.

I'd rather have that then when my 4-speed in the Saaaaaaaaab does what's known as the "slip slap". In that same situation it stays in 2nd until you give it moderate throttle (35%) where it'll attempt to drive out for a moment only to violently downshift back into first. The only way around it is to baby the thing in 2nd until it gets to a high enough RPM to not downshift.
-
I have a trans with no grinding. One of the better shifting trans I've had, but it has a noisy input shaft bearing. I was keeping it around to eventually rebuild, but I'm doubting I'll get around to it.

Updates are that my wife and I are in contract to sell our condo and buy a home in Lewis Center. I had set a date to have the silver car stripped and out if my friends garage by July 31 and that took up the majority of my free time. Now that it's done I'd turn to the white car but I need to be prepared to pack and move by the end of the month. I've driven the car a whopping 50 miles since I bought it. Haha. Life happens and I'll get back to it when things settle down a bit.
-
Yeah that last part was rough to watch. They didn't mess around either by the time we turned the truck and trailer around it was completely gone from sight. Got a whole whopping $47 for the shell too! Haha. Cost that much for the salvage title and gas to take it there.
-
Thanks Adam. I definitely lucked out with the rearward hit...if you call hitting the wall lucky. The crazy thing is that lot of the car was salvageable. I'm keeping the motor, trans, diff, ECU, suspension and brakes all for the new car. The rear subframe crumpled and took the majority of the load so it didn't even bend the suspension arms, toe links, or trailing arms or wheels for that matter. The PPF and driveshaft took the brunt of the other force leaving the trans and diff. I guess I won't know for sure until I can road test those parts but they were outwardly ok. Lots of parts off of the car have been getting sold off so hopefully the spirit of Janky will live on. BTW, here's what it looks like to watch an old friend get out out to pasture. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/silver%20FD%20exterior/A50021A4-9AB8-487C-A4F8-55A38EE12AD6_zpsuwuffhhz.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/silver%20FD%20exterior/D5DD6976-753A-4707-A4BE-EE85F09BA0EB_zpsfslcvojy.jpg
