  2. Time to make some space and hopefully get some cash to get more garage supplies. Craftsman plastic travel toolbox. Has 2 insert shelves, big bottom storage area, and collapsable handle. I only ever used it to store some big pry bars. Would make a nice way to take some tools to the track. -$25 http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/For%20Sale/P1130390.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/For%20Sale/P1130391.jpg MSD 6A. Great shape, so they might be a good fit for someone who wants them for events where they don't check/care about certification dates like Auto-x, demo derby or the like. All ends are wrap-in so if you want clip in ends for the lap belts you'll need to buy those but they're easily found at JEGS. - $30 http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/For%20Sale/P1130387.jpg
  3. I haven't seen any hero2s at all in stores lately around here. Costco had a great deal on them around Christmas and I should have just bought it then. Now though they seem to be cleared out. You're right that you can buy a Hero3 White for $199 anywhere but it's not as good of a camera as the Hero2 which is the equivalent of the Hero3 Silver which sells for $299.
  4. Unfortunately these have dried up too. Last week I ordered a Hero2 from one of the few remaining online retailers that listed it on their site for $199 but have yet to receive a shipping confirmation so I'm anticipating that when I follow up they'll tell me that they can't fulfill the order. eBay is a joke. People are selling new Hero2s for upwards of $240 and bundled with the wifi bacpac for $270. For those prices I'm just going to buy a Hero3 Silver for $299 new.
  5. Couldn't help nut notice only 1 guy running an air filter on his turbo. Seems like a bad idea to me. At least when they ker-splode motors they don't have to out down oil dry or wait for the track to be cleaned.
  6. I played a good amount last winter but haven't re-upped my subscription for this year. I would like to, but as Andy pointed out it takes a good amount of time commitment that I'm not sure I have this year. The tracks are great and the racing is competitive.
  7. ^^ I have ultrashields in my car but they're similar to kirkey designs but I like that they have more road race oriented shoulder supports. You need to look at which organization you're going to run with and then that should guide what you need. Fiberglass seats are generally more comfortable but more expensive for similar seats.
  8. I'm not familiar with that intake but is it tall enough that they had to cut the hood out? Or was the swap just mounted that high? Looks like the car gets around quite well and that's some pretty crazy aero. Matt, everyone knows that rotaries stink like hell and shoot fireballs better than piston engines.
  9. Bronzo looks GOOD! Now turn that thing brown/green
  10. Hey Derek, glad to see the new store is getting off to a strong start. How long are you going to run that oil change special? The wife's TL is going to probably need a change right in the middle of winter when I least want to do it.
  11. Kyle, do they dictate how new/old the car must be? Do you have to have a 4 door so that you can haul clients around in it? Because putting full size people in the back of an Evo or STI for a period of time might not win you any favors. If you enjoy auto-x'ing the Z4M, then why get another car to do it in? Are you wanting to reduce the use of your BMW? You could buy a fun 4-door that is bigger and more comfy and just keep having fun with the BMW on the weekends.
  12. As someone that lives with the horrible smell of a rotary without a cat I can certainly understand where she's coming from. After I drive my car I smell like I was riding a sport bike for 100 miles. These days mine isn't driven on the street much and when it is I'm the only person in it so I don't care. As Jones mentioned I'd just have any reputable shop weld it in.
  13. While people have successfully used the Bonez units on FDs without an air pump it's still generally suggested that you should use an air pump with any ceramic cat to keep it from clogging. You can use an electric pump if desired. You can also look into metallic substrate cats which can be run without an air pump without problems. The only downside to them is that they're expensive. Knights Sports and SMB make great options for the FD. http://www.smb.net.au/fullexhaustsystems-mazdarx7.htm
  14. D Willy works out of Sweet Baby Octane. This would be my recommendation as well.
  15. Nice choice on the Naddura. That was one of the first bottles I purchased. It takes well to some water to open it up like other cask strengths do. People tend to either love or hate cask strength.
  16. If you're looking to change fields because you feel you're topped out in your current field then an MBA is a great way to facilitate that jump. In my case it was going to further my education to continue in a field I'm already working in, so it was a little easier for me to not do it.
  17. I was really looking into getting my MBA a couple of years ago. I had a friend go to Franklin and another go to OSU for their programs. I tagged along and went to their classes and sat in and took some looks around at the programs/costs. I highly recommend you do the same and see the differences for yourself. I had already narrowed it down to those 2 schools so I can't speak to the online or other schools in the region, but OSU was HANDS DOWN the better school/program/experience than Franklin from the experiences I saw/had. What I ran into with weighing my options was that with the cost to go to OSU it was going to take me 4 years to spread out the cost/time involved and it was still going to put me in a considerable amount of debt or really change my lifestyle to pay for it as I went. I wasn't willing to take on that additional debt/cost since my wife and I were planning on having a child and that was my decision. I also very much debated if 4 years of additional work experience would get me just as far as completing the program over 4 years.
  18. I lol'd. I also have a tilt wheel and it stays in roughly the same place as the fixed wheel models do....go figure.
  19. It seems that many people on this show should be more concerned with preparing for heart failure than doomsday. Statistics would be on my side. Plus, how are these fattys going to live without their meds? DIABEETUS
  20. I wish I knew someone buying me 30 year old scotch! I guess I can always dream. Nicest bottle I've purchased was Jameson Vintage Reserve from Weilands, but it was also a gift. Luckily that gift was for my father-in-law and he regularly lets me have a pour of it when we are over at his place which is nice.
  21. ^^ Good lord they have a sweet-ass selection! I'll have to make sure to add this to my Christmas list...haha http://www.hudsonwinemarket.com/skuA619135.html On another note Jesse, Weilands Gormet Market is close to your new place and has one ofthe best whiskey and wine selections I've found in Columbus.
  22. http://www.com.ohio.gov/liqr/ In Ohio none of the liquor agencies (stores) actually own their own inventory, the state does and they're just allowed to sell it. This is only for liquor above 40 proof or whatever you can normally buy in the grocery store. Because of this, they have a system that tracks every bottle of liquor in the state and can tell you which stores have what product. I learned this when looking for a specific whiskey a couple of years ago. Call them and tell them what you're looking for and they'll be able to tell you if it's sold in Ohio, if anyone has it, and even how many bottles they have in stock.
  23. What'd he drive for a track car? Was he at the PCA events we went to this year?
  24. MVP Track Time who used to post here at one point is putting on one of the first DE's there next March. Real tempting but not at all cheap to tow a car that far and add hotel and food to that. I figured it'd be about $2,000 to $2,500 total cost which is quite a bit of a yearly car budget.
