  1. Sorry to see it go. Cleanest/most attractive 4th gen I've ever laid eyes on.
  2. well....except for this corvette. http://www.rotarywiki.com/index.php?title=1973_Corvette_Rotary_Concept
  3. I miss 2 C&C events this year and miss another M3...damnit. Good looking cars, and yes the MS3's seem to be taking over.
  4. Great FD, I remember it from 7club. I'd love to see the cage when you get finished if you don't mind. I'm a fan of the s14 and Camaro as well, but also vote to get the M3 back. Welcome to the site.
  5. Unfortunately I'll be doing Race for the Cure on that morning.
  6. bump this up. I don't see any reason this guy wasn't been approved yet other than he just fell thru the cracks. I'd like to see the M5 out at cars and coffee sometime.
  7. Clay, I think you can find a better example for similar money that will also be closer. If you're interested in an e36 M3, you can drive mine anytime, just let me know. As for the vert and the hate...if you like it then get it. It's not like the e36 M3 is really a fast car anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about the lost performance. It'll still be fun to drive.
  8. i used to have it saved on my DVR but it mysteriously got deleted. It's a great movie and I had no troubles watching it multiple times.
  9. If you know of any of your family going thru Ellis Island between 1905 and 1924 then you can search their archives to find some information on them. I actually just got back from NYC and I went over and did this, it's kinda cool. I could see which boats my great grandfather and great grandmother (not married at the time) came over to America on and read the manifest from when they were processed into the country. Pretty neat. Both of their names were on the wall as well.
  10. Good looking Cobra. Welcome to the site.
  11. Clean MX-6. Welcome to the site.
  12. pretty damn sweet. I can waste a lot of time on there. The snapshots feature is really cool too.
  13. Sorry I didn't hang to talk much. Rob and I wanted to make sure we didn't miss seeing his sister run by. It was good to still see some people brave the weather and show up though.
  14. easiest way to tell from the back is that the 996 GT3 has dual exhaust on the outsides of the bumper. The 997 had 2 tips right in the center of the bumper.
  15. Smokey was the name of my Eagle Talon that I had when I joined a lot of forums. I'm 'Smokey the Talon' on Rx7Club because someone already had Smokey...doh. I've never felt the need to change it since, it's easy to remember and I don't want to keep different names everywhere. Plus it's still applicable since my FD blows smoke like it's signaling the natives.
  16. i ate mashed potatoes and drank those yogurt smoothie things.
  17. Anybody want to....errr.....tailgate afterward? The columbus half marathon goes right by there and a friend is running in it, so I thought I'd just hang out till she passed by at about 11am. P.S. Because of this, the best way to likely get into Lennox is 315 South since it'll still exit right into the center.
  18. walking. Too beefy to run, plus it's so crowded, I couldn't imagine trying to run in that crowd.
  19. Good luck! also good luck not getting completely hooked and ruining your budget forever.
  20. agreed. I did take my KDW2s all the way down to the cords on the M3, but damn were they loud during the 2nd half of their lives. Just so you know.

I'll probably come out to cars and coffee...but then i lose my weight advantage by putting my 300lb friend in the passenger seat.

so you've got 35 more hp and about 350lbs more when we're both in the cars. Should be close. We'll have to do a fun-run sometime. edit my math sucks...make that 550lbs....how much you weigh? I'm guessing 160-ish....damn you're skinny...hahahaha.

what's that SC weigh? I'd think with your 360 hp/12 psi tune that it'd be a good run with the FD.
  24. ^^^HA! Joe, for the charging with your stereo issue, look into one of these. http://www.scosche.com/products/sfID1/210/sfID2/318/productID/1667 I've been meaning to order one for my wife's car, but have just been lazy.
  25. Hey Anson, I'm not sure if you got rid of the shell of the car yet, but figured I'd check. Do you have the door trim/rain rails from the car still? Are they in good shape (no peeling)? They're number 11 in this photo. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/diagrams/h/o/127.png I figured I'd hit you up before I just repaint mine.
