  1. yeah, it's always been in the background. I don't like the exhaust on my FD and would love a new one, but there have just always been more pressing issues to take care of. The one i have works I suppose. It's really just for asthetic reasons I want to change so that's why it always gets pushed off.
  2. best intro save I've seen in a while. +Rep
  3. Clean Fiero. I would love to see pictures of the Merc.
  4. That's kind of what I figured. No biggie, it's not that high on my list, just something I've always contemplated.
  5. Question. Would these guys be able to create a new back section exhaust for my car if I took it off and took it to them? I basically would want the exact same routing just with a different muffler and tip. I would not be taking them the whole car for the issues of a supposedly missing cat.
  6. for an interesting read/theory on break in go to http://www.mototuneusa.com and read up a bit. That's the basic theory that I follow. With some minor tweaks. -Run Dino oil. -First I would let the car/bike come completely up to temperature just idling while I look for leaks/issues. Once completely up to temp, turn it off and change the oil (still with dino). Then let the vehicle completely cool down before touching it again. -Do initial driving around getting the car up to temp and making sure again that nothing seems out of place. Make sure to vary the RPMs and do a good amount of engine braking. Put on about 20-50 miles this way. -begin doing more agressive pulls with the car. Find some space to do 2nd or 3rd gear pulls. At first use light throttle and slowly build up the RPMs and let it engine brake all the way back down to 2K rpm or so (so first go to 3K, then 3500, then 4K so on). After doing those with light throttle begin to do them with half throttle, then full throttle. -take car home and change oil (still dino), let cool all the way down. -Change oil to whatever your preferred oil is again in 500 miles.
  7. cool project, can't wait to see it completed. You'll have to let me know how you like that clutch too.
  8. our dog is by no means an all out toy destroyer but he's pretty hard on stuff and definitely likes to tear things apart. I've had really good luck with this ball. http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3207024&lmdn=Dog+Toys the netting is strong enough that I can pick him up by it (he loves to play tug-o-war) and since it's hollow he can't really get a good bite down on anything to crush.
  9. 200lbs of play sand in the very back of the bed usually does just fine for me.
  10. I've always wondered about them. They tout themselves as always doing the "correct" repairs and doing them well, but I never hear any car or paint guys talk about taking stuff there. So are all the 3C shops crap? To the OP, I ALWAYS hear good things about True2Form in Dublin.
  11. I have always been a PC user and the iPhone is my only apple device. That being said I've always had MP3 files over MP4. Just so you know, using iTunes on PC I did not convert any of my MP3 files. They stay the way they are, and they are transferred and used on my iPhone just fine. The only MP4 files I have are from where people bought me iTunes gift cards.

It was in theaters but was pushed out early due to political reasons.

    Force Fed

I didn't have much interaction with the shop other than they sold me a set of used valves that I put in my 1g DSM. Seemed like decent enough guys. I do remember the red 2g eclipse spyder that had the big ass black widow decal on the front and the license plate "270 King" I always saw him on Morse Rd.

    Tax programs

TurboTax since I've used it in the past and it'll transfer my info over. Plus a really nice feature is that it'll interact with my company's payroll provider and download all of my W2 information into it...simple and done. Buck, you should also know that while it's a bit more work, the state provides a site that you can submit your return for free. http://tax.ohio.gov/divisions/communications/electronic_filing_options.stm You just have to re-enter your info a bit.
  16. no work for me today! The one that really pisses my friends off is when I call them when I have Columbus day off....HAHAHA.
  17. I would start setting away money for the cooling system parts right away. Control arms can vary a lot by how the car was driven. The blower resistor is a cheap fix anyway.
  18. This is correct, you're not supposed to be using plates for a vehicle that is still driven on the road and owned by you. You're financing this thing right? If you get all of your loan paperwork together and make sure it includes the vin of the new car you can go to the BMV here in Ohio and they'll sell you a 30 day temp tag....problem solved.
  19. Nice car. Welcome to the site.
  20. I can see where you're coming from. I started off on bikes because they were cheaper and the best performance/dollar I could get. I had the scene ruined for me for a variety of reasons though, and just about everyone I knew got out of them so I was left alone and not having fun. I also felt that the danger to a motorcyclist on the road in central Ohio went up SUBSTANTIALLY during the 10 or so years that I rode. Where I'm at with cars? I'm starting to get other priorities in life so they're not getting my full attention/money. I plan on keeping them, and maintaining them, but i'm just not planning any big builds or anything.
  21. once you are determined to have gone overdraft, you'll get a fee for every transaction. Provided you don't have a history of this behavior, go into your local bank and explain the situation to them and how you tried to make a deposit to cover everything that day but it didn't post (that's what I took from your story correct?). They should likely reduce it so that you're only paying one overdraft fee and waive the others. Worth doing since the fees are a pretty penny.
  22. F'N SWEET! Wonder how many thousands of dollars they'll get me to part with to have one though?
  23. In looking at that video I'd say that collision was more the fault of the smaller pirate boat. I realize that I'm as up to date on nautical laws as I could be, but doesn't the bigger boat always have the right-of-way? I realize that those standards weren't designed for the wide open ocean, but I would still think they apply. Those were some pretty big waves, and while the whaling vessel did move toward the smaller one, it wasn't nearly as much as the smaller vessel moved toward the larger one.
