  1. I'd say it's said jack-asses fault for not buying both example.com and example.net if he intended to cyber squat them. Although it may be a pain for you to have to constantly deal with the problem that people may unknowignly go to his site when looking for yours based on the general tendency to type .com when going to most addresses.
  2. May I ask Eli did you perhaps get into an argument with a Cayman owner? I'll try to be a good sport and answer your questions though. While both the miata and and Rx7 were both built to not have many frills and be "pure sports cars" I think that since the Miata was built to be more of a "fun" car it gives the perception that it more feminine. I do believe that the convertible contributes to this general perception. In the end I believe the general public's perception of all of the vehicles in question is biased/incorrect. Specifically to the Miata and the Boxster I believe they wrongly accuse them of being cute girly cars because they are convertibles and meant to be fun (which I guess shouldn't be an option for a man?). Both cars are quite capable track cars...my only concern there is that I'm not a big fan of tracking convertibles, but to each their own.
  3. just let me know when you can meet up and it's yours.
  4. The surface is what you make of it. Everybody loves to rip on how bad it is, but unless you're running a VERY stiff car you should be fine, just a bit more shaken up at the end of the day. I don't think they've announced their dates/rates yet, but the Northern Ohio BMWCCA regularly runs a weekend school at Nelson. I think that would be most comparable to what you're going to offer. Perhaps Andy (Audion19s) can chime in with what it cost in the past. I know he and Yasmin did a weekend there with them a couple years back.
  5. You'll have to forgive my lack of memory Mark, but does MVP have instruction in their run groups as a standard? I would think that would be a bigger draw for novices looking to get on the track at Nelson. It can be intimidating getting out there if you're completely on your own. As for the experienced drivers that want solo time, as Matt mentioned, Nelson has run their Funday program in the past (and hopefully continues that) which is damn near impossible to beat as far as track time per dollar is concerned.
  6. Thanks for the heads up Chris. That sounds like what I'll do.
  7. This article was a great read. Everyone in this thread should take the time to read it.
  8. It works just fine. It's just old, ugly, and heavy. It's white. Let me know if you want it or where I can recycle it.
  9. bump, I've been lazy about these and my wife wants them out of the house.
  10. Welcome. Nice G35, and it's nice to see people still approach riding with caution in the beginning. Congrats for that.
  11. In b4 Bob brings his Panerai hate in here. I for one love them and plan on my next watch being a Pam 111H. Corum styling is kinda take-it or leave-it. I like some of their stuff, some I hate. As Jamie mentioned if you're planning on not keeping it forever then Corum might not be the best bet. If you're looking for different and funky-fresh. I vote Franck Muller. http://www.franckmullerusa.com/ Also, hit up Andy (Audion19s) with questions, he a much bigger watch nerd than most realize.
  12. Bump for a good seller and him being very understanding of my tardiness. Only one 5-er left now, you guys better jump on it!
  13. What's your schedule like tomorrow Andrew? Care to meet up around the Polaris area again?
  14. I approve of this transaction so much that I'd be willing to go along with you and be hassled by the boarder patrol just to see you bring it home.
  15. I would also recommend you stay with Blockbuster. I use Netflix because it suits me a bit better. I only watch at most maybe 4-5 movies a month just due to timing, so my wife and I have the $8/month plan for just one DVD at a time with unlimited streaming. Honestly the selection of streaming movies can be a bit frustrating. I'm not sure what all goes into them deciding to stream something or not, but it seems to take forever for newer movies to get that ability. The biggest upside for me though is that it's WAY better if you like watching tv shows, which they have a lot of them streaming. that way you don't have to get one DVD that has 4 freakin episodes on it, then send it back and so on....you can just stream episode after episode.
  16. good looking car. I'm assuming you didn't get rid of the FD for it though right? What turbo kit is on the car?
  17. DO WANT!.....but do need to figure out how to not have my wife kill me for it. I'll have to get back to you on that one. Bump for a good seller. Did you keep these in the box or in your humidor?
  18. I believe one of the most basic definitions of marriage is that I agree to stay with that person through problems/bad times/issues that I would have dumped them on their ass for if we were just dating. I don't think people have that same thought process in mind anymore when thinking of marriage.
  19. http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/4934/dsc0010pd2.jpg You're right, I do like them on e30s. Looking forward to the final result.
  20. HAHA. Dig it. Great quality video too.
  21. bump it up before I put them on craigslist for the wolves to pick over.
  22. style 5s? I approve, and am patiently waiting.
  23. Blue One. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/PC070724.jpg Brown One. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/PC070725.jpg The blue one is a bit "tighter" meaning that the arm rests are closer together. Both are well used, but neither have any major flaws, tears, or stains. They don't stink (at least not to me). May have a bit of dog hair on them. The brown one has a staple missing where the front arm rest cushion meets at the front of the chair, doesn't really affect anything, but thought I should have full disclosure. $50 for each chair. If you want both I'm sure we can work out a bit of a deal.
  24. you going to the shop tonight? I'd be interested in some of your "specials", and possibly some of your Gurkha stock.
