    Lifted

looks great. Nice and clean install as well. Did you do the work yourself or have a shop do it? I've seen a white rabbit running around on air ride that looks awesome...not sure if that's the Paul you're referring to, but I liked it for sure.
  2. oh, I'm trying, I'm trying...it's just a matter of fighting with the wife for budget. I think it's high-time to take the M3 back to the track as well. It's tough though because I feel I have so much more to learn in the FD. And to be dead honest I think I'm going to fall back in love with how easy that car was. Drive to track...drive on track....check oil and tire pressure...rinse, repeat....drive home.
  3. As always Derek and crew down at NTB took care of my wife's car despite the rear wheels not wanting to come off! Derek was quite helpful in finding me a set of tires that met my requirements and the work was done quickly and as promised. Thanks again.
  4. Thanks for the heads up. The wife and I have been meaning to do this and it's always nice to support our community. We'll definitely call her up when we get this done.
  5. I agree. Both drivers were being agressive and both made mistakes.
  6. FD is pretty boring. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/FDinterior.jpg M3 is the brushed one on top http://www.eurocarmotorsport.com/Image/is21.jpg
  7. thanks for the reminder, need to set the DVR for sure. I haven't seen the pictures of the final cars, but do they look as goofy as the initial test versions did?
  8. glad to see this going forward. Thanks Clay for putting it together. I'm hoping to make it to the first one. I'll likely have my buddy drive the M3 and I'll take the FD.
  9. Welcome back. I don't think I've seen pictures of your e36, post some up if you get a chance.
  10. HAHAHA. I got most of my "hard partying" days done early in life and have calmed down a lot, which is why you mostly see me just drinking whiskey at Fado. I don't know if I can handle the crazyness that goes on in those limos anymore.
  11. I think they threw the race card out there just to stick it to them the way he did to them....cause they could.
  12. Nate's correct, my 95 is a 3.0. 96+ were 3.2. either way, the m3 is my DD during the summer and not getting a turbo as much as I'd love to. I already have one needy turbo car, no need to complicate the situation further. I decided that when I bought the FD that because of such I'd never boost the M3.
  13. I've got 2 teeny tiny turbos and I plan on replacing them this year....with 2 more teeny tiny turbos. I'll go sulk in the corner with my turbo-envy.
  14. Ohio F's you for being married. My wife and I worked it out both ways and we ended up filing "married filing seperately". It gave us about $100 less on our federal, but we went from owing $400 to the state to us getting back $100. So in the end it worked out to about $400 in our favor to file married filing seperately. Might want to check that out next year.
  15. hahaha. That's the only person I could think of when I saw this thread, and it didn't look like anybody else was jumping to help Jeff out, so I figured I'd try ninja edit: That's definitely the person I was referring to in the video
  16. does he have "KELLEY" tatooed in like 5 inch letters across his shoulders? Used to drive a big truck?
  17. sucks to hear Erik, hopefully you get it back up and running with minimal fuss. I've never checked into it, but what do the V8 guys do to replace the factory power plant frame? Do you make it fit to the t56 somehow or just go without it? Do you run a diff brace instead?
  18. agreed. Glad to see things worked out AJ!
  19. hot car for sure. Keep in mind the 94-95 cars had the more durable interior plastics, and white is the most desirable color for FDs these days. Not sure how that really translates into a total value for the car, but something to keep in mind. I'd also ask him how he did the ABS removal, I notice the mention of a proportioning valve but not much else. Make sure the interior is in as nice of shape as the pictures as well cause you'll go nuts if you price out replacing those damn pieces of cheap-ass plastic. Good luck on the trade though, I'd certainly be jealous.
  20. congrats Erik looks great. What's the garage situation like?

    School Shootings

Sol, your analogy is priceless! "drug" issue aside, I love how the article infers that school shootings are something new, and that must mean they're a product of our society's recent addiction to over-medicating. Problem is that school shootings have been happening for quite some time. It was what the late 60s when Whitman was popping people from a clock tower in Texas? It's not exactly a new concept.
  22. I'd hate to do it in a DD cause my car stinks like hell without it, but it'd just burn out anyway. It's always a personal favorite of mine though to chop off a Prius and let them inhale the fumes for a few miles Rob's correct that they e-check in many places around the state, but it's been mostly kept out of the capital because all of the gov't cars would have to be checked (and fixed likely) which would cost the state a ton of money.
  23. Very cool to see, and reasonably priced as well for the weekend. Not to deter from Mark's event at all, but I think we could still organize a small CR convoy up to one of Nelson's Fundays this year for the more frugal members that are looking to check out a track day.
