  1. yeah, sucks you had to get another set since you were in a hurry, but as you stated, sometimes that's the price we pay. If all else fails you can have them rebuilt and sell them off to help offset the cost of the new ones.
  2. in poking around their site I couldn't tell if/who they outsourced the build of the shocks to. I think your best bet would be to give them a call today and see if they have any shops in the area they trust. If they used a Koni as a base and just revalved it, then TrueChoice will be able to rebuild it.
  3. It was good meeting everyone. Let me know if you get some pics up, I'd like to see them.
  4. i've followed your thread on rx7club. Simply awesome work. I hope to see the car in person at a meet this year sometime.
  5. L-I-V-I-N man, nothing too crazy. Glad to see you're back on the site. It's been quite a while. We'll have to catch up at a meet sometime.
  6. I AM INVINCIBLE!!! I'd prefer a white chocolate chip cookie...payable at the next meet we're at together.
  7. Welcome Kelly, long time-no see. I know you've got the sense of humor to make it past the leghumping. I'm sure it'll slow down after a while. -Chris, from the ol' bike shop
  8. autozone, advance, napa. They should all have something similar. Stimmel....seriously? Duct tape and packing tape on the paint? Harsh man.
  9. I believe the cut-away picture is only showing one of the two
  10. I was thinking that as well Kirk, but I figure they've obviously thought about it as well. At first when I heard the M division was doing SUVs I was a bit disappointed, but they've certainly made some very cool accomplishments here.
  11. The Carlisi BBQ? I've thought about going, but scheduling is tough for me that time of year. You thinking of heading out?
  12. Thanks for the clarification Patrick. I found out my planned tee time is 2:30 so I'm going to go up right around 11am, and I believe that Erik is going to be coming as well. Hope to see others up there. Mugen, you might want to send a PM to some of the rotary members here to don't get on as much (Carl, VincentRx7).
  13. I'm in as long as my father-in-law doesn't pull something goofy with tee times....so 1) Smokey - I will be there early to mark my spot with leaking oil also, when you say the entrance to the park is "before" the brewery, do you mean as if I was coming west down Schrock?
  14. I still think you should keep yours. You'll ultimately regret selling it down the road, and clean FCs are getting hard to find.
  15. welcome. What's done to it motor-wise? It's definitely putting down more than a stock e55 unless that dyno was seriously optimistic. also...Audion19s and I are pros at installing the lowering links on those cars now....you know....just in case you needed some help.
  16. would that make me your little brother? Honorary member? Does it count if I'm the only one still rotary?
  17. no archery? Come on man...that totally ruins my midieval times theme! I'm going to try to make it out, but it will be tight as family is coming to town and I'm supposed to go golfing that afternoon....well my version of golfing really which is more like heavy drinking while hysterically swinging a club. Hopefully I can sneak in early though.
  18. he does. I thought they were both running Konis.
  19. damn Matt...so harsh on him already! BTW I thought your car was already running Konis?
  20. Andy sent that to me this morning. While they quasi have a point, it's BS to disqualify the whole team on a technicality like that. I loved the F1 race and thought it was quite exciting, but it seemed like the stewards and officials had their heads up their asses. What was the deal with delaying the safety car coming out when the Williams wrecked? Then it stayed out like 2-3 laps too long after it finally did come out which gave everybody problems with keeping their tires warm.
  21. failuretoreadthreadandrealizeitsanaprilfoolsjoke plus, while they don't build the cars they dump HUGE sums of money in the form of marketing.
  22. I'll say first off that I'm NOT a fan of NASCAR, but it's anything but low-tech. They push the boundaries on many aspects, but unfortunately it doesn't make main stream media attention because the average NASCAR fan doesn't understand nor care. They care more about the drama between the drivers. NASCAR is the only motorsport that I know of that tunes tire pressures to the quarter-pound.
  23. check out Mazda 6 models as well
