  1. 2 completely different dealerships. Yamaha of Columbus was in the building that MOC is in back when it was owned by Arena....about 4 years ago now. Then they moved out East. They sold to Iron Pony about 5 months ago. Motorsports of Columbus is a Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki dealer on Morse Rd.
  2. I put this on Ohio Riders, but know that a small few of you don't venture over there. Deal is supposed to be finalized this week. Hopefully they can turn that place into something nice. I believe they have to keep it on Morse Rd for a year, but not positive on that. Maybe Todd will come in here and give us the scoop as I'm sure he gets all the good stuff.
  3. I didn't see anything in the thread about this purchase. They bought Yamaha of Columbus a while ago, but they are now buying Motorsports of Columbus which will make them a full 4 line dealer. Sorry if it's a repost.
  4. I'm sure this has made it's way thru the grapevine for some time now, but the deal is supposed to be finalized this week. So what are everyone's thoughts about this? I figure that place can't get much worse. Hopefully it won't drive Pony belly up cleaning up the place.
  5. dying a million dollars in debt is just like dying with a million dollars
  6. Tim, do you have a site that you suggest where I can read up on different options and what might work for me? Basically, I'm coming from the point and shoot world, but I want the ability to take nice photos of cars. I'm not sure where that places me on how many features I'll use or even what lenses I'd want/need....I'm completely lost there...any central resource I can start researching at?
  7. me either, but maybe I didn't look hard enough. I also didn't see how they're controlling the variable vanes....is it done with a pressure line? unfortunately they also don't flow very much either, so you'll likely need to use 2 for any decent sized motor application, which ups the cost even more.
  8. spotted....sweet ass camo ground effects on the Dodge. the 612 is ultra hot.
  9. http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/ntnsracing_2025_185542365 The burnout kit is one of the only kits I've actually liked on FDs. I'd be interested to see how it looks in yellow.
  10. http://www.acm.jhu.edu/~asharma/myrx7/RX7Side.jpg although I still vote no rear wing and no fogs
  11. ^^^Try flushing it before you go ripping the dash out. I just did it in my Dakota with 225K miles and had chunks of mud come out of the damn thing! It makes GREAT heat now! I had the most success with "back flushing" it. I flushed it against the normal coolant flow to get any blockages out which worked wonders.
  12. there are a few options that I like. One of my favorites is the 93-95 front bumper with the R1 lip and no wing in the back. I often wish my car didn't have the R1 wing on the back, but I don't feel like going through the trouble to fill the holes. 99 spec is touchy as I see some of the plateless replicas look goofy, but I'm not completely hot on having the front plate either. I go back and forth on this. Are you planning on a repaint of the whole car or just the new stuff? Are you staying CYM?
  13. sorry, you caught me sleeping on the ALMS thing. Andy helped clarify for me whom you work for. We're up at Auto Assets from time to time.
  14. always loved Klubbed to Death. I've also been wanting to make a "fly-by" video pass thru that tunnel since they've opened it. When you did the shots on the passenger side exterior were you holding the camera out of the window or was it mounted to the car?
  15. great intro. Mind me asking what ALMS team?
  16. I was happy with the season, and yes this show is the only reason I keep poo-poo HBO. I liked the growth in E's character this year. Ari also continued down the depth started last season which was nice to see. Drama is still my favorite by far and the most entertaining.
  17. going out of business sale on drinks? He got a bottle of Johnny Blue he wants to sell on the cheap?
  18. That's what I was thinking. Nobody could seriously take this serious....seriously
  19. I guess I'm not up on my politics. Can someone explain what the benefit is for this bitch to waste her time and the taxpayers time drawing up a bill like this? Does this have any sort of advantage for anyone? Does it just get her name out there and then she can say she tried to stop street racing?

    call out

Looks like the Nelson sale fell through, so we have one more year of Fundays. what do you say Erik? FD vs FD. Fastest single lap of the day wins, or if you prefer we can just go out during the same session and if I can't run away from you, you win.
  21. although I believe this is the true reality. I think they're "pre-selling" spots in line for Black Friday.
  22. I'm definitely excited to see a new high quality facility close to us, but I'm doubting it'll really be that much closer than Nelson drive-wise.
  23. sorry I couldn't make it out in the picture, but what heat range are the NGK plugs? You don't happen to have a nice set of stock twins off of that lovely beast do you?
  24. yeah, I'm 5'10"-5'11"-ish and I had to put a race seat in to be able to fit the way I wanted with a helmet on. I'm not a big guy and the FD makes me feel huge.
