FS: 7x12 Dual Axle Enclosed Trailer - Race Ready
SJC1000rr replied to SJC1000rr's topic in Other Stuff
Was looking to sell it as a whole package at the moment. If no bites after a week or so I'll consider taking them out. It has the bike bar & Pins for the Honda 600rr currently. -
I'm putting my enclosed trailer up for sale. I got it two years ago where it was originally used as a storage trailer, so I put some work/updates into it. Pre-Paid but guessing I won't make this one still due to bike repair. Still waiting on exhaust and tank cover to be delivered. And I still have to install the subframe and repair the bodywork upper and lower. Repaired the Main harness, Speedo Harness, radiator, radiator tube+cap, Clip-Ons, Brake & Clutch levers, Ram Air, Upper Stay, Both Throttle Cables, Rearset Frame Weld, Rear Sets and Front wheel bearings.

Checking to see if a bike frame is straight
SJC1000rr replied to YSR_Racer_99's topic in Track is Crack
Its only $75 to check the frame.... But if you need anything fixed...expect a bill around $600-$1k. Having been there twice unfortunately...though the second time he didnt fix the lower triple and I had Reuben do it. -
Pretty easy concept of slowing down for the orange barrels then getting back to speed. We're done with winter, so it is the orange season after all.

MSE and Malwarebytes for random scans is all I've ever used and never had a problem.

I can attest to how nice the Racer gloves are. I have used Astar Gp Plus and Pro gloves before, and I will only be using these now. I get a lot more feeling through the glove material and the construction is great. The seams are smooth and stitched correctly so that they never go across your fingers and cause annoyance/distraction. Anyone that has ridden with seams on the fingers knows how annoying this can be. They have all the protection I needed and wanted along with the extra padding on the top incase you land upside down. I recently got to crash test them at Nelson Ledges and they came out with only a few scratches and wearing on the slider plates. As for me, no injuries other than a small bruise on the top of left wrist from hitting the track. (Not bad for being 6ft in the air and probably 30-40mph) No seams or stitching came loose or undone. While every crash is different, I had two sets of Astars came apart under less destructive crashes.
-
Get one...use it... I'm thankful of mine from the MS crash. Landed on my spine from 6ft up and at least 40mph and came out with only cracked ribs (I think). If not for the protector, I'd of broken my back at a minimum. Though I may have to go to the Dr for pain in my spine still. I use the Knox Ageis 7/8 Plate. http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=4157

Either, but i know optimal is cheaper.

First! And yes.

I won't be there. Still repairing the bike and unsure how long it will take as of now. Still searching for good used parts.

Had a head Dr/Surgeon check me out today. Looks like I have 3 cracked ribs in my back and one on the left side. Standard soreness, bruising up, heat burn in right and cut across my nose from the helmets impact into the ground. Helmet had sever damage to exterior and a cracked interior shell....

First, I'm glad to see your doing ok given what happened. As far as the train that hit you, it was me. I was in the second group, first row and had a good launch and caught the back row of the first group as they got to you. I saw your hand go up and was on the brakes with the bike endo'ing before I got to you, but it was too late. I had you in front of me directly and those guys on each side with no where to go. My understanding is that Farmer was in surgey this morning for his femur.

On the way up now....traffic is not so great though.

Might want to just call the #. The verizon store I went too yesterday (Olentangy & King) wanted to charge me $199 for the Razr and $299 for the Maxx.... So online/call promotions seem to be better. #866-822-9445 is what I called.
-
Just offered it too me, no threats made to leave. I've had an upgrade on my account for a while since I've been month to month, then they added the $100 current rebate they are offering. She said that as of right now, they haven't received any info about the new policy change so they can't enforce it yet. So I jumped on the bandwagon now to change my phone and lock into a contract with the hope that it would stay the same until end of contract. I don't have it yet, I did it all on the phone then, so the Razr is on 2 day delivery. Since I'm out on work till Friday, I won't get it till then. I tested one out a few months ago at a verizon store and liked it.

I just called into Verizon about upgrading my phone and questioned about this service change. As of right now they aren't locking people into new plans if you call vs doing the online part ( I tried it and got that same problem). In the end, with my promotions... I just upgraded my phone from a Droid X to a new Droid Razr Maxx for $136 and kept my unlimited data plan with a 2yr agreement. The lady explained that if they change plans in the future, I would be locked into my current contact until it expires...then subject to the increased price. (thought I know the ToS means they could change it at anytime)

Biggest thing is as Nick said, to stop from burning things. My pipes were burning through the lower. Even with heat tape, it wasnt enough. So wraped all the Y pipes under the bike and half way up to the can. No burning now, and no lower repair needed.

Sandbagger my ass! I only raced at PIRC once and just started to get consistent at Nelson the end of last year. But no where near the pace needed to go expert. Never been to putnam and only once to Grattan! Also need to lose some winter weight still which definitely won't help things this year.
-
Planning on leaving Friday and doing advanced saturday if you want to add me. Just a few sessions though....and I'm running novice this year for racing.

My old champion gene was terrible for electronics...tried it once on my computer and never again. Though with the new yamy inverter, its not an issue anymore.
-
Not much. I usually just use my trucks 12v Adapter, but it takes a bit longer then a normal plug in. Also, think about the power fluctuation/Pulse on a "std gene" vs normal. A std gene changes a lot on the power stream and could potentially damage electronics.
