They do know it comes from burning fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas right? as opposed to burning fossil fuels in your car to move you around.   3. then the horriffic evil demonic piece of shit american auto industry is different, I was on the gas in my grandmothers 08 GP getting onto the freeway and was pulling a bag from the back seat into the front and I knocked it into neutral from drive. Scared me at first because I didn't know I had hit the shifter, thought the car just lost drive. Good for the imports another job well done.
  4. When did the American driving public become so fucking stupid that this caused even one crash, let alone a fatality? Engine reving out of control? PUT IT IN NEUTRAL!! every automatic out there seamlessly pushes into neutral from drive FOR THIS EXACT REASON!! there is even a handy little stop to keep it from going into reverse. If your that dumb that a stuck throttle killed you or injured someone you love I'm sorry but you deserve it. Bonus question. Why should you put the car in neutral an NOT shut it off? I almost shit when I heard a news anchor tell the American Idiots to shut the car off in a stuck throttle situation. Answer? Because if you kill the engine now you loose power steering and brakes. Try stopping a car equipped with power brakes while the engine isn't running. Good luck with that. Here's the rundown, stuck throttle? Slip trans into neutral. No damage will come to your engine the computer will limit revs to a safe, reasonable non engine destroying speed, slow and pull car to side of road, once stopped shut off ignition and place car in park. Simple you'd think.

  9. Those are for pulling stalled cars off of main roads/bridges to get traffic moving again, the bike can get through the traffic, in front of the broken car and tow it off to a safe place to resume traffic. they're not for traveling with. just as an emergency car removal.

  14. If they put a TRUE high speed train in I'd take it. A Pitt-Cle line would essentially run through my front yard, a stop close enough, I'm make the layover in Cle to get to Columbus if it was going to take an hour or so off my driving trip.
  15. So, let's say IF I was looking for a DS, Motard, whatever the hell you want to call it, what exactly would I be looking for? I'm pretty sure DZ is Suzuki right? I have no clue about dirt bike designations. Also what would you guys reccommend for a good DS? I was thinking DZ450 but the reviews of it haven't been as good as I'd expect.

Ah, K&N filter, MTI lid, smooth bellows, ported and descreened MAF, ported TB, stock LS6 intake, stock heads and block, above mentioned cam, Comp push rods, patriot gold Valve springs, stock lifters, stock rockers, Hooker super comp headers, hooker off road y pipe and cat back (minus cat) Textralia clutch, steel drive shaft, 12 bolt w/ 3.73 gears. In an 01WS6.
  17. IMHO the heads were a waste of money, I put 433/402 to the wheels with a 233/239 600/603 112 +2 cam on stock 01 heads. LSx heads are exceptional, no need to waste big money like that unless your shooting for 550+na hp.

Do it, ditch the wheels though, I don't like them lol sounds about the same as my car, I was going 12.0/11.9 all day. please for the love of god tell me there's a 12 bolt in that car or your running on VERY borrowed time, do a 12 bolt with 4.10's and it should be a high 11 second car easy. I had 3.73's in my 12 bolt and was crossing the 1000' mark in 3rd :-/ oh and for the love of god and all that is holy LOWER THAT DAMN THING!! looks like it should have Z71 stickers on it, I had Hotchkis 2" springs on mine and loved them.
  19. aside from all that the whole Polly aspect of that bothers me. Alum/steel, maybe. Not so sure I'd trust polly to hold my wheels on.
