Hmmm... What bike do you own? Just saying...

Yeah, but Brandon, you don't get it sideways all the time when you ride. I mean, this guy may not be a jackass, but he is probably on the fast track to filling in at MotoGP. Probably factory ride next year... I mean, his hair is on fire and he needs more speed, yo! Shit ain't gots what he needs for dem fast turns and shit. Mang! I is goin to get me one dem Kanatunas and do som crazy shit!

Monte and Bonnie will still on board to a degree. That's between them and Richard as to capacity I imagine. As for changes, there are always things that need changed. Richard has a fresh outlook and some great ideas in mind. He's going to do what he feels is best for the company and follows what he feels is the best course of action when it comes to such things...

I am in love with these F2s and F3s... Was my first race bike (F2) and I have always been fond of them. For $400, you got a steal. Even if it needs some TLC, they are rock solid dependable and have a great history. I think I have a few needs, springs and main jets for the bike... If I can find them, you can have them. We did some testing for Factory Tuning on the jet kit for the F2/F3s... Some of it is prototype, but if I can find my notes, you can have everything...

SV1000. Done.

Richard is a personal friend and probably one of the most honest and stand up guys I have ever known. Not sure what the future holds, but I can say that he is a great guy with some VERY great ideas and is a business man. All those things combined along with his racing background, sponsoring higher end riders background and overall industry knowledge and he'll do rather well... Oh, and he can weld and machine stuff like nobody's business!

Are you at the stock internals? How many miles on the fork fluid? Ever been changed? If not solely track, how many track days a year do you average? My thoughts are this and Rub can confirm... -Track day anything and you'll want to at minimal, get the fluid refreshed and possibly at least do some springs that will compliment your riding and weight. Stock anything typically is either VERY worn out in terms of fluid or the internal spring rate is usually not set for the owner that is riding it. Of course, some will fit the OEM spring rate... -I think that if you are just simply riding street with an occasional track day, the forks still need love. You'd be amazed at the forks Reuben sees from guys that have WAY too many miles on their forks. The oil is simply not up to task for the amount of miles and punishment that people put on their components... Get the fluid changed. Probably seals also. -If you plan to do the opposite, and will be doing more track vs. street, consider doing a fork kit and a rear shock. Reuben has a company that he uses that does a GREAT job in making internal kits that will make a HUGE difference. GP Suspension has some really great kits and unless you are top 5 WERA or similar, you don't need a 25-30mm fork kit. However, a fork kit will make a world of difference. BUT, do not do a fork kit without a shock. If you cannot afford a new one, MANY great shocks can be found on the WERA forums at a substantially lower price vs. new. You can get into a fork anymore for about 1/2 or better than retail! Overall, think about what you want to do, but understand that refresh at least and that INCLUDES THE REAR SHOCK!! Ask Reuben about doing something with your stock shock, also. He's done some cool things to OEM shocks and I believe he even did a rebuild and some tricks to a stock rear shock he has used on his personal GSXR1000...

Just saw what it is. Medical marijuana for people with diseases and crippling medical issues are permitted to grow and smoke marijuana. However, you do what these guys were doing and it is illegal and would have had similar consequences. So, nothing remotely the same...

Medical or unlimited?

That Vee Dub kid is funny... As always, we had a great time. He was quoting movies and such and I couldn't keep form laughing. Good dude. Great pics, also. I was kidding about pics - I'm just not a guy that cares to have his pic taken. Nobody needs to see a dude like me in a tight shirt that looks like the Riddler's costume!

Uh, what state is growing and use of Marijuana legal? By the way, it is a really big deal here in Mt. Gilead. The Sheriff guys are pretty cool folks and even though I had no idea he was a Motorcyclist, we get a LOT of guys from the Sheriff dept that help at Mid-Ohio for our demo days and such. Great dudes! Good luck Brandon! We are pulling for you!

All you folks that do track days - understand that the suspension on your bike is the most important thing you can maintain outside overall maintenance of your machine. Every year you ride on the track, it breaks the oil down and those contaminants can cause problems. Not to mention that is performs at lower and lower standards as the oil breaks down. Racers, if you are remotely serious about your program, getting suspension refreshed is something that should be done at least 1-2 times a year. For anyone that wants to have their suspension upgraded, now is the time! Know that suspension upgrades are a bigger result than anything else you can get done to your bike. Superstock engine build on stock suspension is a waste of money. Street guys - same thing on the oil. That stuff looks like sludge when you go thousands of thousands of miles on the forks and shock... Seals and fresh oil is something a lot of people need, but put off...

Do you mean it would still be at the original asking price and the $500 deposit is simply meaning they owe a balance of $3k? If you are asking $500 for a rattle can job, you might want to reconsider since guys like Attackpainter does a professional job for less...

Triple clicker is easy to tell... The 8981 series is a big gold knob on the remote reservoir. The 8987 shows a big hex nut with a smaller grooved knob that is on top of that hex nut... 8987: (Ignore that it is not a remote and is a piggy back. the right pic shows the adjusters...) Uploaded with ImageShack.us 8981: (May not be as large a gold knob, but it is the same look) Uploaded with ImageShack.us Great price, by the way. I would assume you have the Bill of Sale for the bike you bought?

Huh? I bet the company that sells it did some extensive research. I'd almost guess it is similar to the LeMans cars I showed above. This isn't a rice type vendor and is certainly not a rice-like application in terms of fit, finish and quality...

Well, things like wheels, carriers, air tubes, fairing stays, subframes, etc are all race spare stuff. What I might suggest is to maybe start a thread with some key bikes (07-09 GSXRs, 06-09 R6s, 07-09 ZX6Rs, etc...) If you create a thread here, I can cut and paste into the WERA forum also... Unless you have a user name there and I would certainly suggest that.

Wow, someone that is actually talking sense and makes sense! It's nice to know there are car guys that actually get it around here. Welcome!

Trade my 09/10 GSXR1000 bronze wheels for your black ones...

Yeah, I am going to try the Ohlins and see what my thoughts are. Reuben has the Traxxion and Penske setup for this model and I am looking at a trade if I cannot get the feel I want from these... I really liked the Gas stuff... It is the same to a degree, but this generation chasis is so much better. They handle so much more like a smaller bike and doesn't seem to have that initial turn in slow down as the 07/08s did. Of course, mine was pretty well sorted, but when racing against this model, it was able to be put anywhere in a turn more easily than I could with the older model. It's just progression, really. Plus, I am racing some next year and the bike is still eligible since Suzuki didn't send any 2010s here and the 2011 is the same... That means I can get contingency from Suzuki - even though it is shit... Sprocket bolts will shear if I am a bone head again and forget to tighten to spec... -
Any 09 GSXR1000 parts you wanting to get rid of? I'm looking for some spare stuff I could use...

That looks like a kit car vs. a supercar. It reminds me of the Pontiac Fiero kits... The gaps on the dorrs and hood, etc are shit. The Vette in question is amazing detail and very mean looking. Anyone that has seen the LeMans cars has to agree (If you think they are badass). Uploaded with ImageShack.us The wide kits are typically for the rear end and front to accomodate upgraded suspension components and wheels/tires for performance. As for the comment that it takes away from performance based on weight, I am willing to bet large sums of money that if the guy did that kind of work, it ain't stock... Power is probably not an issue.

Stock looks like it needs a mullet for the complete setup. The above pics are badass and looks like a Vette should if considering a supercar type machine. I think it looks very Lotus like except a little longer and wider. Rice... Good one...
