  1. Drew- lunch next week. Say maybe Tuesday? Monday?
  2. He apparently didn't see my Buick example. Guys a classic example of someone that simply doesn't grasp simplistic details...
  3. Ok, fucktard. Example and I can attest there are a shit pile of others... http://www.spitzer.com/index.htm Dealer is a VW dealer. You CANNOT buy an Audi there. You don't get it and I have no idea as to why I am wasting my breath... Finally, you really wanna argue the ownership levels with Ducati? Really? I did respond. I said it wasn't the ECU, ass bag. I also stated that it had to do with something emission based. I stated STVA or similar. The exhaust valve is an emissions piece. Same idea... I refrained from saying you're retarded to run the max psi on your tires for street use... I responded with even examples on the tank fill up. I also stated that I doubt you measured the oil properly and I pointed out that you're stupid because you were arguing liters vs. quarts. But I do agree that IF you did measure accurately, they made an error. Anyways, I am done. You know more than anyone. You use Google and have no grasp on reality. I'll give you a small clue with what I do for a living. My avatar...
  4. Dealers have a line of credit. That is correct, but if they have units pending delivery, all they need to do IF they go beyond their credit limit, they can ask to have it extended. Most run into this as a lot of brands are covered under one financial floor plan provider. GE, is the most common for example... So, dealers with multiple lines are usually at their limits and extend often... The way it works is that they are allocated a set number. They can sometimes request additionally. Whether the case, they know what they got coming and a targeted ship date. If I am reading all this right, it took him 9 days to respond? They aren't going to hold it... Especially as to how hot that item is. I still am unclear if he had a physical deposit...
  5. Honda is a manufacturer/distributor. The dealership can only sell directly to the end user. Even VIP deals are run through a dealership. Race sponsorship is different, but only at the factory contract level. Dealers have their bikes on floor plan. They typically run them on floor plan while receiving free flooring. A lot of dealers will then buy the units from the financial institution as to save the large flooring interest rates... Back to the crate issue. Whether or not they made an error, it's not permitted. Yes, a lot do. But, they get caught, they can get terminated instantly as it is grounds for immediate termination.
  6. While dealers do and will, they are not supposed to and is a serious violation of the dealer agreement and operating policies. So, if they don't, people have no right to bitch. They just aren't educated as to the reasonings. But, I've asked as it is not apparent - did he physically deposit money or was it word of mouth? If the prior, he was screwed.
  7. To redeem myself and help everyone's eyes... Nice top and yoga pants to boot!!!
  8. Did you make the deposit in person or offer one and they had a verbal? It isn't clear... If verbal, your loss. If in person and an invoice. Bitch hard at Honda customer service.
  9. The deposit and selling out from under you is kinda bullshit, but in typical big dealer situations, multiple salesmen have multiple deals and not everyone is on the same page and one can slip out. You have a gripe on the fact you had a deposit. If you have the invoice, I would expect them to get one or call customer service and bitch. They will find you one..
  10. They are not allowed to liver a bike in the crate without violating the dealer agreement. They legally have to do a PDI check and to do that, they need to remove from the crate. The dealer did exactly what they should have. You guys who are collectors are silly. They should have PDId the bike and then placed back in the crate, but you'd have been pissed due to miles. All these threads with dealer issues. I'm starting to think customers are going full retard!
  11. Damn!! It wasn't the ECU! Shit!!! Rolling eyes as I type...
  12. You use big words n shit. VW group is like GM. But you don't buy a Buick at a Chevy dealer. You're not getting it, man. You use big words but miss the simplistic things. You cannot buy an Audi that is brand new from a Porsche dealer. Your logic indicates that I can buy a brand new Lamborghini at the local VW dealer. "Well, Lamborghini is under the VW Group umbrella so, can you order me one so I can buy it?" If you REALLY wanna argue who owns Ducati and what umbrella we fall under, we can. Should be fun. I've responded to all your shit. I'm worn out. Google some more big pants words and fire away. This should be good.
  13. Uh, I didn't buy mine. I bamboozled you. My Audi is a company car. I'm not near as baller as you who buys an S4 new... I just picked my second Q5 up as I hit the miles limit for the corporation and what Audi sets for us to not exceed. And no, you do not buy a new Audi at anything but an Audi dealership. Yes, they can handle multiple brands like VW and other import cars, but they are an authorized Audi dealer. Not anything other than that. Not sure what you are trying to get at... Again, you're thinking you're right, but alas you are not. Now, there are brokers out there that may buy and resell units, but they are buying from dealers and so, you are not buying it new as established by Dealer Manuals sent out by Audi... Oh, and if I wanted to measure brain pans and e-peni lengths, you got me beat. I am just a normal guy that knows that a few things you've stated are retarded and simply ignorant. But, again - you claim you have some type of pedigree that makes you the man to beat and the man to listen to. You got me. I is dumb and stuff and no idea what I am talking about. Have fun talking to the dealership and getting everything you want. You probably will, but at the end of the day, you really are a trip, man. Fun playin with ya. I'm pretty much worn out... Good luck. You might get it someday. And when you have your "ah-ha" moment, let us know.
  14. And yes. You buy new Audis at Audi dealerships...
  15. Wow, you're just plain baller then. That pedigree is showing through! I probably look like a loser and not as high brow as you. But for you to think that the dealership thinks the customers are shit because they don't fill your tank is ludicrous. Oh well... It's your show so, try the ghost ride the bike into the front window trick. That'll get you in good...
  16. I just picked up a $45k Audi and it only had a 1/4 tank... It ain't like it used to be. But, most of my Duc dealers send you off on a full tank... But I wouldn't expect it from a Japanese dealer...
  17. I hate you fuggers!!! Thus, I gave out rep like Madcat giving free BJs...
  18. Dude, I'd rep you if I knew how. That is pure awesomeness!
  19. Dude, it has been YEARS where dealers are buying bikes at auction and then selling them fast. Or they trade them in and if they look good, start up, rev fine and pass very minimal and cost effective tests, they get slapped on the floor. And you are ill educated. You're talking a servo and ECU thinking they are related. The servo goes bad and the secondary (Do you even know what a STVA is?) butterflies are not working properly which are used for cold starts. The ECU makes the servo work at start up. There are VERY few Japanese ECUs that go bad on today's bikes. VERY few. Also, there is a way to read the codes at start up. The dealer can plug in and can tell instantly if the servo is bad. However, sometimes, the code doesn't get thrown and will show to be fine. However, the engine light is indicating there is an issue. Could be something simple or it could be major. Whatever the case, it has nothing to do with what the dealer did or didn't do...
