  1. $40 on closeout from Irony Pony in either late 2007, or early 2008. I use the little bag that came with it to carry my ratchet straps and bungies for the trailer now.
  2. i bet mine would fit. it's this model in Large, I believe. Not really a fully-on race oriented model, actually...
  3. this is signature material... Quoted to preserve its awesomeness.
  4. Crop and Momocho are likely both on that list of 25 I posted. I would go back to either without hesitation. Momocho has some killer guacamole
  5. there are a TON of good places to eat in Cleveland/Ohio City, but he's in Ridgeville... that's way West. If you're going to expand your search to within Cleveland city limits, my wife is touring the "25 restaurants Cleveland can't live without." (as rated by scene magazine) http://www.clevescene.com/gyrobase/to-die-for/Content?oid=2341604&storyPage=4 I've probably eaten at 8 of them. My wife is workign her way through all 25 this summer. I do trackdays, she drops $100 on a meal with her friends.
  6. If this had been posted yesterday you could have worn mine... I would have just given it to Steve w/ my wiring jig Is TwiztedRabbit riding? He and Theresa still have one of my back protectors from last year at Putnam with STT!
  7. might be? There is always an hour wait. They will have empty tables, and they'll still make you wait an hour. That place is amazing, but not run in a manner that's conducive to good customer service. The ownership just isn't in it to be efficient and maximize profit; they're making enough money with (relatively) shitty service... Fatheads is a great place to drink. I think the food is average though.
  8. Why not? That's a dream price. I'd pay off my hous 20 years early.
  9. They will if they want my business. The Dunlop rep did it for me. Not sure of his name. Cute girl sitting at the table, and guy in his 30's running the machine. $15. I gave him $20 because it was done in 10 minutes
  10. This is going to work. Thanks everyone. The jig is only like 2x2x5. That's inches, not feet. I'll tape a couple bits to it. i bought a 10-pack at harbor freight. Nicer bits work better though.
  11. You don't think a takeoff is good for 3500 miles? I've never owned anything bigger than my EX500 for street use, so my frame of reference is undeniably skewed, but I would have thought ~3,500 miles would be doable for a take-off, and about a thousand more miles for a new tire used for mostly highway. acceleration is what tears them up. Highway is easy on tires.
  12. don't plug a MC tire. Just don't... TwiztedRabbit's offer sounds about as fair as you're going to get. $50 for a 'new' tire, his trouble, and a free tow is less than the tow alone would cost you at other places. The tire's basically free...
  13. R1Crusher wants to borrow my drilling "jig" to do some safety wiring, and we're thinking the BeaveRun TD with MotoSeries would be a good way to avoid shipping it. I can't ride this weekend, because I will be at a bachelor party out of town. I live on the west side (really close to Tpoppa, but I don't think he's going), and I work in Independence right off 77. I'm also at CSU's law library tomorrow morning from 7:30 - 10:30. All I need is someone who can transport a small tool to the track... takers?
  14. it's definitely a 180. I change/buy them more often than most...
  15. I have a dunlop qualifier track take-off that will be a cheap alternative to a new Pilot Power... I think the price I listed in the for sale section was $50. If I weren't 2 hours away, i'd unfold my trailer and help you move the bike too. Sorry I'm not closer.
  16. I am consulting the wife/accountant. If this comes out of my trackday fund, then I don't think I can swing it. If it comes out of our regular checking account, I'm sold. if it's 50/50, I think I'm still sold...
  17. Honestly, I am over riding in April anymore... I have just spent too many April "trackdays" sitting in the pits drinking beer, because it's 40 degrees and raining. this is supposed to be FUN, and adverse weather just kills it for me. Cold is okay, and wet is okay, but cold & wet together are not okay... I ride May - September if I'm lucky. Usually I'm just about out of tires, funds, and time about then.
  18. Does that mean you don't want to trade for leathers?
  19. My friend Ryan has a zx10 for sale. He raced it last year but is racing his zx6 now. No idea what he wants for it, but I expect it will be pretty affordable. Track riding in OH is awesome. We have access to grattan, gingerman, Putnam, mid-Ohio, Nelson, and BeaveRun; all within 5 hours and change. If you're willing to drive another hour, add in 3 tracks at summit point. If you're willing to drive 8 hiurs, you add 2 tracks at NJMP and Blackhawk farms. Out season is short, but robust. A trip to barber in the fall and VIR in the spring adds a few months too.
  20. "if you have a loud-ass generator, you better have a long-ass extension cord."
  21. supposedly it's "random," but occasionally people get letters in the mail after they buy or sell a vehicle. They ask what you paid, and what you sold it for. If the amounts from the buyer and seller don't match, they open an investigation. Both parties can get in trouble, and possibly the notary. I'm not sure if they're supposed to see the cash change hands or not.
  22. which model, and how much work does it need? I might take it off your hands if you've got something else you're willing to part with it.
  23. interesting. what does something like that run? I could use it as a semi permanent installation around the house as well...
  24. what i really want is to find one of these USED for $190
  25. god damnit... You wanna take a set of leathers as partial trade? I literally just started my own thread, then researched the generators "Stickboy Racing" sells, and realized the one I thought was 2400 watts is actually 3500... I want this; I just don't want to pay for it
