Ahh, ok I gotcha...this is a new model. I read the 277mph as 227 which i think is the top speed of the old one. Anyways, that's bad ass but 277...really? That's insane.

Excellent advice! I've never been much into the whole resolution thing but if I had to set a few goals I would go with: 1. Get a real job 2. Get another RR before summer 3. No totaling or theft of vehicles this year 4. Find girl with her own place and garage 5. Win a national championship (oops, this is my goal for OSU)

Walmart sells 'water bladders' for like $10. That's what I use in my backpack...much cheaper than a camelbak and if it gets nasty just buy a new one. I fill it about 3/4 full with water and throw it in the freezer the night before the ride. They tell you not to use any sport drinks in them..I'm guessing they can grow stuff if you don't clean them out well. I clean mine with baking soda and water, then lemon juice, then rinse it clean. I usually store it empty in the freezer, too. Last thing you want is diarrhea on a ride b/c your camelbak was growing some nasty bugs.

I didn't like the 1000rr when I first saw it...but after seeing a few in person, I love it now. I think that red/white/blue HRC 1000rr is the best looking bike out there! Still not a huge fan of the stock exhaust, though.

Sad year for the B10 in bowl games. Northwestern looked good and gave Missouri a hell of a game. As far as the Rose Bowl, I don't think USC was all that much better than Penn State. Fewer mistakes, yes...but I would expect that playing essentially a home game and having a shorter break before playing the bowl game. It ended up being those last two touchdowns of the first half that were the difference in the game. I hope the Buckeyes can pull off the a miracle win. That would be a good way to start 2009!
