    The ballast on HIDs tend to whine, and from all the brands Ive used the DDM were the loudest but produced better looks and they were a lot slimmer than most while being the sturdiest, Ive seen some ballast that break the first bump you hit almost.

    That VHT stuff is junk, Ive seen turbo guys use it and it flakes right off after the first good dyno pull. I know they have a lot more exhuast heat due to restriction but bikes have thinner walled exhaust and rev higher and use different materials, I would say ceramic coated FTW

    I would also say with an exhaust valve timing problem you would notice I real nice stumble or miss.

    I had 6000 and 8000 i beleive in the CBR, and two different kits one of them being a DDM. I prefered the DDM slim kit with the 6000k bulbs but the only grip is they were considerably louder than the standard size ballast

    I had Mills Metal Works coat Schmuckgirl's Leo on her GSXR and the coating came off were the exhaust gases actually met metal. Were the packing was it stayed.     Plugs into the cig light and charges the Ipod. AS far as quality goes I dont know what it sounds like, never used it other than maybe to see if it fit in my jeep
