I can't believe the overwhelming response on Issue 1. I'd like to know the breakdown of (D) and ® that voted 'Yea' and 'Nay'... The ®s that voted yea shouldn't bitch about gov't spending/deficits because Dems are the big spenders right? Borrowing money to pay a bonus doesn't make much sense to me (I think we've covered this in another thread). So instead of costing taxpayers $1000 per vet, it'll cost $1000 + 6% interest compounded over the life of the loan. I'm all for vets, but I'd rather pay them double next year than take a loan out this year.

One year later, update: Yes, I proudly voted today.

I've been to the Coventry one 3 times... I don't go often because it's a 45 minute drive and I despise... I mean DESPISE paying for parking there. But, it should be a good event down in Cbus.

I didn't want to start a new thread on tire brands and whatnot... but here's the latest test article that Motorcycle-USA did on DOT Race tires. Seems that the top four brands are almost equal - other than the Dunlops seems to wear the best, followed closely by Michelin then Bridgestone and Pirelli being the quickest to wear. If you want to READ the article for the test methodology, etc, go to page 1, but here's the page with the results: DOT Race Tire conclusion Bottom line, you really can't go wrong with picking a good tire as long as it's from the top 4 brands. Now, I hope they run a straight DOT tire test in addition to this DOT Race tire test.

We don't even know what behavior prompted the moving of the thread.... we were in the middle of posting and it was gone. If it's something I posted, I sure hope the mods/admins would inform me for that exact reason - so I don't repeat it. Or, maybe the whole thread was just getting silly, over-the-top, and out of hand? Either way, no explanation was offered. Not that we're necessarily due one, but it's a nice courtesy for the members.

I'm at level 51 (I think) right now on FM2. I finally turned that AI down to Easy after beating them all at medium up to level 49 (I think) - and I still have a bunch of endurance races and R2/R1 class races to do yet. But, easy is too easy now and I'm lapping the AI by the end of the race. So, I hope FM3 fixes that at least. Medium is too hard and easy is too easy.

This will turn into a GT5 vs FM3 thread... mark my words. I have FM2, and its a good game. I'll usually buy it if it has a Buick GN in it (I bought PGR4 for the Hayabusa and GN in it). If I would've gotten ahold of the G8 GXP I was spying, I would've had to run out and get FM3 right away. I'll probably still get it, but MUCH later when it's like < $30
