The first day was great. But because I used more wood the next day, they were too smokey.

I got this ring a little over a couple years ago, but only wore it for a few months. It kept rubbing the middle knuckle on my pinky finger and kept it bruised. It's not because of the ring, it's the fault of my deformed fingers and webbing. Lol. This ring has little wear and no scratches. I think it's an 8.5 size. I'm asking $200 OBO. My wife just bought me a new ring that is flat and fits perfectly for me. We just want to help pay for the new ring, which was double this one. But I am just now getting into it. I figured that since I'm new to this, I would start small to see if I enjoy it. I did some research and found that this is a good entry level smoker. I found an awesome recipe online that called for 2 pounds of hamburger. I made 4 patties with it. Yeah, 1/2 pound burgers. It turned out awesome!!! The next day, I wanted to smoke chicken. I picked up a package of chicken legs. I prepped them the night before. Half was soaked with Sweet Baby Ray's, the other half with a mixture of Sweet Baby Ray's and Naga Scorpion flakes. I did potatoes, asparagus, and corn again. This time, I used 7 chunks of mesquite wood. Lesson learned, 7 is too much. The vegetables were too smokey. I let this combo smoke for 2 hours. The chicken was awesome. However, I used a bit too much Naga Scorpion flakes. I love hot stuff, bit this was a bit much. To expand on this topic a bit more, what if you have a man cave with 3 tv's and you want to watch live sports on all 3 tv's at the same time (a different game on each tv)? Do you need a computer for each tv? I also have a tv in the living room and one in the bedroom. What would I use for those tv's?

I believe that got canceled after one season. There should be like 4 movies coming out next year that he was in.

I've been spending way too much on proteins and multivitamins lately. A friend sent me a link to this site that has all of that and then some, on the cheap. I'm not familiar with most of these brands. I've heard of a few. I generally take a multivitamin in the morning, a mid-day protein shake, and a post-workout shake. I usually see a few in my house each year. I generally don't worry about them. However, last night after my shower, I was drying off and one fell out of the towel and onto my foot. Scared the shit out of me. If this trend continues, I will need to contact someone to come out and spray the house. Keep us updated. I'd like to know how you end up resolving the issue.

I'm not certain that 'french drain' is the proper terminology for this type of drainage, but basically, it's the same idea.

It will have to be fixed from the outside. The block on the outside will need to be tarred and sealed and drainage pipes will need to be installed around the perimeter. It's not cheap by any means.

Makes me like the old cars even more now. New cars are ugly. Cool photos though.

Pulled the panel off the handler. Pulled the fuse off the board to see that it's bad. Going to get new fuse... brb.

So I touched red to yellow; nada. Then I touched red to green (fan); nada.

Good idea. The wires are labeled and I'm sure I can find something online about the wiring to test this.

Would this be the board on the handler or the board on the heat pump?

The current one is the 2nd thermostat I've put in this house.

A co-worker was telling me this morning that he and a friend went. I guess his friend got 2nd place. I believe the time for 1st was like 23.xx.

My turn I guess... I have an all electric house with an air handler and heat pump. Both units are only 4 years old. I have a Honeywell digital thermostat that is 4 years old as well. The entire system worked fine all winter. 2 weeks ago, when it was a bit warmer, the A/C was working fine as well. I was off work all last week and kept the A/C off the entire time. And of course since I'm back at work this week, the wife and kid "are going to be too hot this week and want the A/C on". Anyway, I go to turn it on last night and get nothing. The thermostat display works. It says "Cool" and when I switched it on it gave me the "Wait" indicator. I hear it click like it's working, but nothing happens. I flipped all of the Handler & Heat Pump breakers. Nothing. I pulled the thermostat off the wall and noticed one of the AAA batteries was expanded and leaked at the bottom end. The contacts had some corrosion on them, but it wasn't terrible. I pulled the batteries and scraped the contacts off. I put new batteries in it and the system continues to do nothing. I've been doing some reading and my wife spoke to a friend whose husband does HVAC for a living. He said that 99% of the time it's not the thermostat. He said it's most likely a failed board, capacitor, or something of the like. I kind of feel like it may be the thermostat due to that battery leaking. I know we have some HVAC pro's on here, so I'm looking for some input on what to check before I drop a ton of coin on a service call. The first thing I'm going to try tonight is replacing the thermostat. If that doesn't fix it, I'll return it. Thanks!
