WOW! haha! That dude WAS rockin' the gold wing - I've never seen one run like that before. Impressive.
-
lol - maybe if I lay the recliner flat I can get him to lay at the top. Then throw the handle forward and watch kitty fly!! J/K - I've always liked cats. They can take you or leave you - don't matter to them!

That is a nice looking bike - how are the ergonomics on it? I'm 99% sure I'll be going up to a 600 next year and the big three are on my list (GSXR/CBR/ZX6). Is she pretty folded up on it or is it fairly comfortable?

Oh comon - I'm sure he's feeding them...just goofin' on em I'm sure they deserve it for something they've done.

HA HA!!! OMFG that's funny!

I mean, good lord can I please get my freakin' lazy boy! sorry for the OT - just boozin' it up and thought this was funny as hell!

That's a pretty sweet first bike - welcome!

well, I like it but I'd like black better. No prep for the bedliner? Or do I need to rough it up w/ 220 and prime?
-
I'm thinking I might like to go all gloss black on my 250. I'm not really sure how much it would cost to have it done, but I'm wondering if a small set of fairings could be done with some elbow grease and some inexpensive tools..?? anyone ever tried it? Airbrush, some primer, paint, and sand paper?

Thanks for all the compliments - its good to be riding again and I'll be sure to take good care of this baby. You don't see too many 19-year old bikes in this condition. One things for sure - its gonna have a lot more miles on it

Not exactly a barn-burner, but good enough for me. I think it was a good idea to downsize since I dumped my ZX7 last year - I needed something small to learn proper handling on the twisty roads. Got an '89 Honda Intercepter 250 - so light compared to the ZX7. Far less power too, though this is a good thing since the throttle is what got me in trouble before. It's in great shape, not a flood bike like the Intruder, runs very good and has low miles (6,400). Put new tires on the front and rear, change the oil/filter and removed all the decals. Maybe a 600 next year - for now I'll just enjoy the 70mpg a 250 gives Its good to be riding again - even though I'm riding a slow bike, I'm gonna ride it fast

Don't buy that green light tripper - get 2 of these: http://www.magnet4sale.com/product.php?productid=16527&cat=309&page=3 affix to the bottom of the bike using 3M Exterior mounting tape. Of course, I like to do things myself instead of buying the canned solution. Probably you will only save a few bucks doing it this way.

Key west trip...didn't end as well as it started.

OMG - that just plain sucks. R.I.P. - and I hope they make the guy pay. Nothing will bring your friend back, but there needs to be serious consequences for this guy. -
I've had just about enough trying to track down the issue with my rear cylinder and have decided to seek some professional assistance. I know there a bunch of places that do it - I'm looking for good experiences and good work rather than just trying to guess. Can someone recommend a decent shop/mechanic to diagnose a possible engine/carb issue on my v-twin that won't rip me off?

Sweet gergwheel - thx!

Do you charge $10-$15 a key? or is it reasonable?? Suzuki keys too - that's not a problem right? thx!

I'm going to be heading back to 377 where I crashed (labor day weekend 2007) very soon - that was a tough day. Should be a lot of fun on a cruiser - you sportbike types make sure you don't scare the crap out of me when you go flying by, and give me plenty of room! lol!

I have a set I need copied
-
I need to get a set made, but the local hardware store looked at me like I had 3 heads when I asked for a set. Where to get some bike keys made w/o breaking the bank?? Can be somewhere out of town too - be a nice excuse for a ride!
-
I just had my first crash in Sept 2007 after 14 years of riding. I took the rest of the season off and when time came to ride again I didn't want to ride that bike again (98 ZX7). Sold a couple bikes and wound up on the intruder I have now. Definetly get right in the mind before you get back on - no reason to force. If you love riding, you'll know when you're ready. Glad your OK! AGATT.

myspace = blocked at work! What's the deal?

progrmr - I'm a programmer and when I first got started I thought'd I want to buy a vette with 'PROGRMR' on the license plate. Then I realized that I hate vanity plates, and that I've spent too much on credit cards to ever buy a vette so I just use it on internet forums

I just try to get out of the way - drivers tail gating just cannot stop as fast as I can and I'm not eating the engine of some car because they're jerks. Just get out of the way, shout at them and maybe flip 'em off - then continue enjoying the ride.

Yea I sent him an email - told I was looking for his extra key and the pics of the module...I should melt it down into the shape of a dollar sign and send it to him! And WhoDey - what you talking about? It is mud - I tried to clean the shiat. Of course, clever jokes have a way of going over my head too.
