Cool. Working on a few things but no time today. Just got done working. Been a crazy day.

The motel was OK but that town was nearly 2 hours from the gap and there were really no other roads to ride without going thru there via foothills. The location frankly sucked in my opinion. Ive been looking at places on 28 or Fontana or Robbinsville. I personally never had a problem with Fontana besides them having the refrigerator turned off when we arrived.

Well this seems to have died on the vine, so is anyone interested in kicking it old school, first weekend in June at Fontana? If we can get enough commitments I’ll try to reserve a block of cabins. Post up if interested.

Never thought I’d hear you say those words. I understand it though. The only thing inevitable is change. We’ve seen lots of that around here through the years. Good luck with the new Yamaha. Mine has never let me down and has only required basic maintenance.

Won’t be able to adjust anything until you replace the jet you drilled. Id be surprised if it’s not flooding right now on the pilot circuit The best I can suggest is reading as much as possible about that particular carb. I would find out the stock settings, set to them and adjust from there, if you determine the jets are all stock Any idea what brand and model carb you are dealing with?

Um, hello, I’m right here. The reason I’m considering an ST is to get my Wife to ride more with me now that her employment situation has changed and we actually get to spend time together. She’s not comfortable on the FZ1. Also we have friends that like to do weekend rides down into Kentucky and West Virginia and such with their wives.

Working on that. Got a buddy that’s considering selling his FJR and I’m waiting to see what he wants to do.

Areas around Wayne have only been Atv friendly for a few years and they are very strict about which roads they are allowed on. I see quite a few country cars on the roads around here, but they are no where near legal. WV is another story.

Anybody else interested in going? Any advice on where to stay and what trails to hit? Very experienced riders but never been to Hatfield McCoy and don’t really want to ride rock house right off the bat
