  1. I've been great cruising craigslist all day looking at walk behind with velkes. I have been mowing the grass with one of these and the former owner keeps telling me I need one because of the wetness in the low spots. It seems this property doesn't dry out very fast in certain areas and the weight of the zero turn might sink in it. All I know is I got a pull the trigger very soon on something.
  2. No. I don't have that kind of cash and if I need equipment I have a neighbor with everything I would ever need. I need 0% financing on a machine that will mow without fail for at least 20 years. Also have found that some spots don't dry out too quick so I may need to look at walk behinds first and get the zero later.
  3. Call marc stock at Union Savings bank. Great guy and knows his stuff. If he can't help you he will know who to call. 614-761-9700
  4. What I have is no mansion. I'm just a poor boy trying to carve out my own little piece of paradise. The Steiner is nice, but way out of my price range. I prefer to spend no more than 6k, but realize what I want is about eight.
  5. While I'd love to have a yard full of Yotas, I don't really have a need for another, at least til I get the barn built.
  6. It's a weight vs wheelbase thing. Under the right conditions I can see it working fine, but on blacktop or with heavy snow or an incline all the setups I've seen will blow the tires off before it moves much snow. That said, I can't imagine a zero turn doing much better.
  7. Quads with a plow suck. They spin tires. Grasshopper front mount seems to be the best at pushing snow. The weiget is centered right over the drive tires.
  8. Thanks Big Teem. This one is fairly rust free. The cab has a bit in the corner of the door bottoms but nothing like most. The frame has been coated and it doesn't leak a thing. I put new front brakes on it yesterday.
  9. Picked up a badass beater truck last week. Thought you guys might dig it. It's a 96 F250 4x4 5 speed with a 460 big block and 4.10 gearing. Steel flat bed, fifth wheel hitch, brake controller. 117,000 mi. Never thought my suburban would lose it's gas hog status in my fleet. Unfortunately, I can't upload pics. Guess the uploader doesn't like pics from my phone. Every time I try to put up a pic it says file too large. Don't know how to shrink down a pic from an iPhone.
  10. Bump. Bought and sold a grasshopper mid mount. Used the money to buy a badass beater truck. So it looks like I'm going new. 0% financing is very inticing. What would you buy for a 2 acre sloping yard?
  11. Take 37 down to 256. Turn left. Turn right on 664 and follow that into hocking.
  12. Most dog security systems can be easily bypassed with a cheap piece of steak. Remember kids, a security system isn't there to protect you and your family, it's to protect your stuff and provide an early warning to you and to let the cops know to send the meat wagon if you happen to be home when the poor sap break in.
  13. Oooohh, so angry! Let it flow! No morons voted for king obamba, right?
  14. That ol Craigslist thing is pretty handy. Have you heard of it?
  15. Cameras are nice, but they won't call the cops. You don't need a landline anymore. Wireless cell units route the call to your central station. Get a Honeywell 2 partition system with a cell primary. Then you can keep the garage armed while the house is unarmed. And cameras in the house are a very bad idea IMO. I charge $180/year for landline monitoring and 240/yr for cell primary.
  16. What's with the newb neg reppin the shit out of us Pauly?
  17. I'm in on the varmint eradication.
  18. I've been told to stay away from cub.
  19. Still looking and gotta get something soon. In the running are gravely, ferris, hustler or something in good used condition. Anyone have a commercial ZT they want to get rid of? What else is everyone using?
