  1. Yeah, the dried up ones that are hard to swallow and taste like shit. Those are the best ones, no doubt.
  2. Cool - I'll look at it tonight when I get home and get back to you.
  3. In general, where ya wanna go? Myself and a few others are going to Colorado and Utah July 11-28, you're welcome to tag along if ya want. I'll also do another cross country trip, probably in September, no real destination yet. Just think of someplace you'd like to go to or see and then plan a route. I'd be happy to help you out with any info.
  4. Same here, the only thing my fat ass will be riding has a motor underneath.
  5. You thought Texas was bad - Laguna has go to be the worst place ever. Traffic jams, high priced everything, absolutely a shit facility - except for the track itself. You'll end up sitting in the hot sun, in dirt to watch the race. Very few seats available and they're mostly on the front straight. I've been to 4 races there and hope to never go back. Best track to watch a race, in my opinion, is Miller in Utah. Though they only have WSB and AMA. Great facility, tons of room, great track, new, clean and top notch all the way.
  6. Some fag from the Region. Probably a CR reject.
  7. I put off surgery for about a year after my injury and never did get the arm to function correctly again until after the surgery. It was one of the most painful things I ever had done, but worth it in the end. I messed mine up in a motocross race and didn't race again for about a year after the surgery. Wore a shoulder brace when I returned to racing to aid stability, but really sucked at racing (more so than I did before the accident, which was quite an accomplishment) so I "retired" from motocross at this point. Kinda sucked as I had ridden MX since I was around 10 years old. But I was 43 then and getting too old to race, despite being in the 40+ class. My advice would be to get the surgery ASAP - you won't regret it.
  8. That may or may not work. Most likely the gravel roads turn to muddy roads when it rains (which is a lot of the time) and the mud would pack up between your fenders and the tires. Not much clearance in there on most sport bikes - might need to modify the fender mounts so that there's plenty of room. I think you're going to need a suitable bike. Having said that, loads of guys do it on "unsuitable" bikes such as HD's, Gold Wings, etc - so it can be done.
  9. How late in the year can we go? Mid to late August?
  10. Weddings are a waste of time. Everyone knows this. I might go out again later in the summer - late August or early September. But it gets too cold in the mountains after that.
  11. I can't see a single reason why that wouldn't work.
  12. Are you gonna buy another bike or just use one of the existing ones? If ya need to buy another one, you should get it before Utah this year. Can't wait...
  13. It's been done on sportbikes by others, so I don't see why not. The dirt /packed roads might be a handful for you. Have you done many long trips before? I have another trip to Utah scheduled for July 11-21, 2013. Might be a good idea to try a shorter ride like this one first if you're not experienced in long distance travel. Roughly 5,000 miles over 10 days with a 2 day rest in the middle. You're welcome to come along if you'd like.
  14. Hamburg and Berlin really got whacked, but Dresden was nearly burnt to the ground with fire bombs in WWII. Pity the poor bastards that lived there.
  15. Keep me posted on this; have the time to do it now. But this summer might be tight.
  16. Was at the game and saw it live. Sure got quiet in Lucas when he broke it.
  17. You've got Rice Krispies in your ears. Clean ears. Problem solved.
  18. It shouldn't - the pics I posted of it on my bike in the garage were just quick pics of it. When mounted for riding, it's a bit more vertical and doesn't scrape the ground. Should be okay for track days if tech will let you do it.
  19. I'm not a track poser - so no track video. Here's a short clip of it though... http://vimeo.com/11790090
  20. Friend of mine has this set up and pulls it with his Suzuki DL650 with no problems - has done 30,000+ miles with it. I made the trailer hitch for him and made a swivel mount to be used between the trailer and the bike.
  21. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  22. Earache

    Pig Cop

You're gonna need an awfully big brick.
  23. Practice what ya preach, Bud. Not all HD riders are shitbags and not all sport bike riders hang out Quaker Steak. Get over yourself.
