  1. Yup - that was the 2008 ride and the 2004 as well as the 2002 ride. It's been done to death already. But, still might do it again in the future. Or you can organize another ride!
  2. Is there something you don't understand? Let me know and I'll explain it as best I can.
  3. You don't deserve such a nice trailer. But I do, give it to me!!!
  4. I moved out of Ohio in '83, so I don't really recall Fayrewhether. Lots of bands like that though - good enough musicians but never really got past regional fame.
  5. Yup, CHastain was all over the place. I moved from Athens to Cinti when I graduated from school; lived in Wyoming and worked on Sharonville.
  6. Watch it. Thems fightin' words right thurr...
  7. I lived in Columbus in the 1970's and was a Godz fan... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfdTAaJi6Ko&feature=related as all high school kids were back then:D
  8. I just got some pics with spurs on Arny boots - didn't know. Thanks for the clarification. Apparently, Google is not my friend!
  9. Montana is full of cattle ranches which means only one thing... And great beers at Red's...
  10. Nah, too many Canadians. Plus they have all that crap in Montana and we don't have to carry passports that way...
  11. And more importantly; Texas hates you.
  12. That'd probably be the minimum for each day with several days in the 750 mile range. It just has to be done this way inorder to cover the entire 5,000 miles in 7-10 days. I haven't worked out a day by day trip itinerary yet, but will do soon. Then you can see what days we'll be doing long miles on.
  13. I've not picked a date yet - but it would most likely be in June / July. I just wanted to post up early enough for people to make some long range plans if they need to. We'd just pick a date that was mutually acceptable to all that really want to go. And Ben; we'll skip Texas this year, I promise!
  14. And rightfully so - he's one sexy bitch! I have to break it to Casper that it's "The Corn Palace" not the "Cornhole Palace". He's thinking of a completely different kind of Palace.
  15. Was it the Corn Palace or the drinkin', gamblin' and whorin' that lured you in?
  16. You need to color in the top left hand portion of your map!
  17. Hope that whet's your appetite a bit for a road trip. Sit back and think about it - plenty of time to decide.
  18. And blast through one of the greatest places to ride that no one ever hears about; Idaho... Dodge the goat things that stare at you... Nice!
  19. And get to ride great roads right through the middle of it all....
  20. Might even see a mermaid by the water, (gotta admit; that's one ugly assed mermaid though)... Pristine waters that Man has yet to pollute...
  21. And see some spectacular views that you may have not seen before...
  22. And see Devil's Tower... And dodge moose all damned day and night... And hang in Kalipsell, Montana for a few days...
  23. On what other trip can you see the Mitchell Corn Palace? And stay in fancy schmancy hotels? And eat at the finest restaurants in towns you stay in?
  24. The '09 season ain;t over yet really, but I've already been thinking about where to go in 2010. I think next year's trip will be to Glacier Natioanl Park again. Rode there in '08 and really liekd the trip, Riding in Montana was fun, although we went too early in the summer and froze our asses off. The ride will be around 5,000 miles and will take 7-10 days. One week off from work with two days fo weekend on each end woudl give us 9 days - just about perfect. Stops along the way; Teton National Parl, Yellowstone National Park (maybe if the crowds aren't outta control), Black Hills, Spearfish for some gamblin', drinkin' and whorin', Hell's Canyon, Idaho, Mount Rushmore, Devil's Tower and some other crap if I can remember where it all is. No dates picked out yet, but probably end of June into early July. Rode through a lot of snow last time as we went in early May. Lesson learned and I'm not gonna do that again. Anyway, just throwing it out there to see if anyone wants to go.
