I have up my 1981 panther vmate 2 (made by checkmate vmate 2) that I bought off of shanton(neonkiller) off of here. the boat is a about 16 feet long (it will fit in a normal garage ) the boat originally came with a 90hp evenrude but shanton had swapped out a 115hp Johnson on it and put an electric trim. he rewired the whole boat an it runs great he had it up to 55mph in perfect conditions I had it at a consistent 40mph in rough water at buckeye lake.

the boat is very low to the water very fast an handles great. great starter boat. brand new battery fresh plugs. starts every time.

the good:

fast boat

great beginner boat

small so fits in a garage no need for storage

cd player

sticker good for 3 more years

fuel efficient motor I can run all day on the lake an never have to fill up.

very sporty looking boat

the bad:

the cd player works great when the motors off but when it's on there some sort of interference so it skips I was told a resistor would fix this issue

the paint is great but the clear is pealing in some areas very small though

the trailer that it's on the axel needs some work I am trying to fix this issue (the hub assembly broke an tore up the axel a new piece 7 $ part can be welded on to fix this as well as anew hub 20$.. again im working on fixing this myself.. if not you would need to tow it out or fix the trailer not a big deal to do earthier)

as stated this is a great beginner boat I just want something bigger which will come next season.

selling out right (new price) **2000 ***obo or looking to trade straight up for another wave runner/jet ski/pwc or anotehr boat that’s more family friendly (bigger) (depending on how nice a boat ide be willing to throw some cash in as well...)throw up your offers looking to sell/trade asap it’s the perfect time to do so summer just started enjoy the water.

If they were innocent and let go they might have grounds for a lawsuit. I have seen entire shifts let go and some of the people were doing their jobs, just the nature of the business.

got an appt at a2z. you can lock this thread if you like. they were $20 cheaper than everywhere else. hope they are decent quality.

Mine doent have that plate that was just an example. The part on the left would be where the wheelbearings/hub assembly needs to go on.
