  1. well i got up early an fogged the motor. the directions said to spray enoug in to the carbs to stall the motor... well i sprayed an sprayed but i coudltn stall it. so i went an did the 10 seconds in each spark plug hole ect. im trying to ge t off work for friday but not sure if ill be able to get the time off ahhhhh
  2. haha i doubt ill pull you ski has topped out at 57 on calm water an 54 in chop.

     

    but not sure if ill be able to get thursday off im running out of vacation time. so im gonna try to change my work schdugel so i can be out there

  4. Paul I don't have strong evidence against it but I have always been pushed away from using wd40 for stuff like that. give me a second and ill find the link to some very popular products.

     

    i dont want to use it unless i ahve to but problem is no parts store is open rightnow. so its eathier let it sit all night like that untill the morning

I would say continue to try to get all visible water out, change the oil and run for a minute or two on the hose, then change the oil again and run for a couple more minutes and then check to see for any water in the oil. Just dont run it more than a couple seconds without it being on the hose. And remember to start the ski, then turn on the hose and turn the hose off before you shut the ski off. Otherwise you will run water back up through your exhaust and flood your engine again. Call me if you need anything.

    so after gettin all the water i thought was out. i put the plugs in an it woudl crank an then jsut thud (like the beginnign) so ide take otu the plugs an pump all the water out. after doing this process about 10 times the motor fired for a second then woudl crank then all of a sudden starts up an idels great . i only let it run for 5 or 6 seconds. then ide let it sit a few minuites an try again. i dont currently have the piece to run it to the hose (ill for sure be picking up that part tomorrow)

     

     

    but after turning it on an off afew times the motor seems to be doing ok. ill be changin the oil tomorrow as well as new plugs an change out the gas for some fresh stuff. thankfully after it was 90% submerged an ruined my day. cr came to the rescue again an helped me out. ahhhh now im going to go get stoooooooopid drunk now

  7. ill use that as a last resort i got the plugs out after some pb...the cylender at the very back is filled to the rim with water the otehr middle doesnt have much an the front had a little...im gonna try to take some water out with a syphone an then crank it like you guys said
  8. thanks chris ill try this,. my problem is i cant gegt the dam spart plugs off. they are on there TIGHT!!!!!

     

    also just for shits i hit the starter and all it does is make a loud thud sound it wont crank over just a thud. so once i can get my plugs off ill try this if i can ever get the fuckers off ahhh

  9. Sooo the jet ski I bought 8 days yes 8 days ago I took out today well I ride for like an hour then me shanton sam an linn go sit in this cove. An I notice my ski taken on water. So I jump off an check my drain plugs.

     

     

     

     

     

    Shit I took them out. Well I couldn't get it started soo I could keep it up on the water plane so no water would get in so I could get it on the trailer but nooo wouldn't start so ssam toys me clear across the dam lake an I run as fast as. I can to get my truck an trailer before it starts to sink.

     

    Welll I get the trailer in the water but wasent enough time. Aswhen I get back to my ski the back end starts going down an the. Front goes skyward. We all do out best to keep it from doin this but mky ski weights 700 pounds dry weight so yea no way.

    By this t I e its sunk skkyward up o the side mirrors l. Luckily linn was able to tie it to his jet ski an pull it over to my trailer an was able to get it on the trailer open up the seat an its fulllll of water

     

    I just let it drain took over 15 minuits driving down the road to drain out with a constant flow

     

    It was all my fault for juist being a tard an being too excited to get out on the water. I want to give a verry big thanks to sam shanton an linn. Without them my ski would be somewhere at the bottom of alum creek. Thanks again guys

     

    So yea fml. I don't plan on trying to start it. Does any one have any recomendation as what to do. About gettin it startable. As I don't want to juststart it if there's water in the carbs
