Hmmmm. Darwin. Einstein said he was an idiot. I agree that species may adapt to their local environments, but show me one species that has "evolved" in the written record of man. If evolution takes place, wouldn't one see it in action? Or did it just simply stop......with the death of Darwin. If this belief is necessary for "Higher learning" then I guess I'll just stick with my own library. Oh, I do believe that so I guess I'm just an uneducated hillbilly bumpkin. Mensa was boring anyway.......The geeks kept stealing my pocket protector.

Who the hell would let someone named Melvin babysit anyway? Did you see his pic.......damn.

Whilst in Germany on deployment, many soldiers said that they'd love to have a nice, thick, juicy steak when they got back. I wanted SLIDERS!!!! Damn White Castle!! They must put drugs in them. Eat them by the sack and still want more. "Nights at White Castles......I'm Drunk Once Again." "Sliders are eaten, by all my drunken friends!" "How I love them......Ohhhhhh, I love them" Didn't know I could sing huh.

If we evolved from apes.....why are there still apes?

I took the 1 day class....still cost 25 bucks. Only in CBUS so far as a test for making it statewide. Up on the hilltop at the DOT office complex. Its a class for people who just get permits year after year and don't get an endorsement. If you have ridden for 1000 or more miles you are eligible to sign up for it. Warning though.....they expect you to already know how to handle yourself on a bike at the class. A newbie may have difficulty with some of the stuff that they make you do.

It wasn't for you it was for Nick. You have something else in there blocking the assumptions from departing your anal area.

Think of it like this. Assume God is infinite and God created everything, time and space. Without God, there wasn't time. Think of time as a tangible object like a bubble that God holds in His hands. He can see where the beginning of time is and where the end is because its sitting right there in His hands. We are Inside that bubble because we are finite and limited TO time. God is not. God is outside of time. Therefore nothing came BEFORE God because 'before' assumes time.

My mother firmly believes that Ric Flair is the next coming of Jesus. She tells me that all that WCW, WWF, WWE crap is real. Not. Now you wanna talk about real......Extreme Fighting. That's real. Ouch! -
We should change all the currencies to something like the Euro. America should change the name of the Dollar to the Ameri. Mexico should change their Peso to the Mexi. Australia should change their Dollar to the Aussie. Canada should change their Dollar to the Candy. (Well at least then they'd have something to offer) And so forth and so forth. One world currency? Who cares as long as .99 still gets me a burger at Mickie Dees.

Back in the 90's the Church allowed carbon 14 dating tests to be done on the shroud. The findings came back that it couldn't be as old as 30 AD, that it was more like 1300's +/- a few years. This puts it within the proper time frame to be Jaques De Molay, but not Jesus. Even Christians can believe in scientific observation. Faith on the other hand does not require proof. That's the definition of it. For my doctoral thesis in divinity I wrote a paper that took the Bible and explained it in scientific terms. It actually all fit quite nicely to current scientific beliefs. A million years to one who is timeless is nothing but a wink of the eye. The Bible was written many, many years ago by people who did not have the scientific understanding that we do today. Planets moving in the heavens and other astronomical events were viewed as the "gods". Man's limited knowledge at the time caused them to see the world differently than we do today. That does not mean that God was not speaking to them. It does not mean that God does not exist. It means that God spoke to man in the language and context that he could understand. He wrote the Bible through them, for them. We can still learn from it's teachings today. Written in modern English with modern meanings would still give the same message of hope and love. (No flaming there....already said that I was not pleased with what the church has done in the name of Jesus) Why does the Bible skip over centuries of time in the very first book? Because it wasn't important at that time that we know how God created the heaven's and the Earth. It was more important that people learned how to coexist......something we still can't do. .....and God said let there be light, and there was light.... = The Big Bang. What's easier to believe? That a higher being thought us up and made it real, or that there was nothing but an extremely dense ball of matter that got all excited and blew up? Must have been one heck of an explosion to make all the matter that exists in this universe. Just look up at the sky. Most of the stars you see are bigger than our sun. Read the Bible as a scientific book and look at how nicely it all fits. I'm not asking you to believe, but at least don't close off your mind. Disclaimer: The above was not intended to incite a flamer war. I am not telling you what to believe or what not to believe. If you are an atheist, that's your choice. If you are of a different faith, that's your choice too. I am only giving you MY perspective and MY opinion. Ride Safe.

That's half the fun of riding

Nope, I think the shroud is actually the image of Jaques De molay. The last Grand Master of the Knights Templar. People can and do do stupid things in the name of religion. I try not to. Not always successful, but I try. I just think that there is more to life than what we can see and hear. I believe that there is some purpose that we are all here. I just seems like such a waste if not. If there isn't anything more, what's the point to putting up with all the crap that happens here every day?

+1 There's no help for me to pay my mortgage. It is good to see the Government trying to help for a change, but as usual, the money comes from the tax paying middle class to get everyone out of a bind. If you can't afford to buy a house, rent an apartment until you can. I'm tired of paying for other people's bills. Maybe I want to use my money for something I want.

I ride to work whenever it's not raining or going to rain. Don't really care about the rain if it's on the way home, but polyester sucks to be sitting wet in all day. Bought a rain suit....that I don't wear. The only thing that gets me is the cold hitting my hands. My new gloves help, but only so much. 30 degrees is fun to ride in. You get some really strange looks from people you pull up to.

I got a pair of Teknic lightning's at Iron Pony for 30 bucks. Very good deal. I didn't know what I was missing until I started wearing them. They stop the cold wind and have armor in all the right places. Hope I never have to test them out for that. Also check out the armored jackets all the way in the back right section. Seriously good deals there.

Maybe it's because they have the Shroud of Turin to let them see what the J man looked like. Now, I'm not saying the shroud is real. I actually don't believe that it is the image of the Christ. But people for many, many years have thought so.

Nope. It's Ninja Nick in his fighting pose. He's the little known retarded cousin of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They feed him bong water and salami and try to keep him from wetting himself too much. -

Nick, you are a great example of why cops target bikers. I do not hide behind a badge.....it's far too small. However, I do know how to handle myself in "difficult" situations. Hey, don't forget. I am a cop, so therefore in the opinion of several forum members am an asshole by definition. I mean who would want to enforce laws that are in place for a reason, except an asshole? You my friend are on a straight trip. The trip has only one destination. Speed kills. Plain and simple. I do not speed. I do not break the laws that I enforce because I know that they are there for a reason. Oh, and I don't threaten people.....little boy. When you grow up, you can come play with the big kids. Until then stay on your porch. Do you honestly think that you are even a remote concern to me? Go ahead. Do a buck and change on the freeway and I'll visit you with your new friend Bubba. I hear he's looking for a new bitch. -

Nick, that has got to be the most asinine thing I've read on here. If you don't want a ticket, go the speed limit. Why give the cop the opportunity to "steal" from you as you put it. You don't like cops, that's okay. But don't try to make it sound like we're out there preying on the innocents. I don't give tickets for 10 over. I give warnings. You go over that, you get what you should. It's not the cop who made you twist the throttle and build up speed. That would be you. The reason speed limits are in place is because of people being hurt or killed because of excessive speed. Simple as that. Not a Government Conspiracy to "steal" your hard earned wages from you.....that's what taxes are for. You live on a nice quiet street with children playing outside. The speed limit is 25. You're the first person to bitch because someone comes flying low endangering your kids. Then you go out and do it in someone elses neighborhood. Hypocrite. (dramatization) Come through my town on your super fast bike and go over the speed limit, acting like a fool and I'll show you just how much a cop can "steal" from you. Be sure to say you're Nick from Ohio-Riders so I know not to "steal" someone elses Ninja and impound it for 30 days or so. Jerk. -

Read the thread. You DID have the proper endorsement to ride at night. The officer was mistaken. He was confusing a learners permit for an endorsement. Did he cite you for riding with no license? If so, you may be able to convince the judge to drop the whole thing....since he didn't even know the law. I've seen it happen. Maybe he was confused when he read the radar unit too. Do not go this one alone. Get an attorney who specializes in traffic law. When was the last time the radars calibration was certified? Does the officer have a certificate of training for that radar unit? How long has he been an LEO? Good luck. They will throw out the night riding charge, because it's not against the law. The speed, you're on your own with. You admit that you did it. Did you admit it to him when he pulled you over? If not, plead not guilty. At least make him have to prove the speed. His credibility will be pretty much hosed after the first one. Make sure that one comes up first so the judge has it fresh in his mind. You may still be found guilty and have to pay the fine with court costs. Ask yourself if it's worth the cash and points to fight it. Ride safe and slow down.
