  1. I bought an '06 GSXR 600. Has some go fast pieces parts on it, but not what I had on the 750. But its the newer gen compared to my 750, and has less than 2700 miles on it. I just got home, and am about to crash after driving 1100 miles in 36 hours over 5 states. Pics will come in the next day or so.
  2. Ha! I am still on the road home. Her bodywork ain't much to look at but she runs strong. She kinda looks like jbot has had her for a year or so.
  3. SOLD. Waking up in TN to pick up a new bike today.
  4. Marty-san...please post up whatever you have of me on the Krispy Kreme powered Blue Waffle Racing slow as fuck 2005 GSXR 750? (I wanna thank my guys for being up all night whale-eye punching eachother and making lots of bacon in the morning to get me out there on the track today!)
  5. I 2nd this. My house has been 87-88 degrees for three straight days. I think the cap is bad. Its not bloated, but just not confident it has the juice to push the motor and comp.
  6. Congrats on the new toy! That thing is secksi! I too picked up an F-150 this week, a 2012 STX. Very pleased with it. So I understand your joy with the new toy! Drive her well, strong, and long!
  7. Imma go ice my nuts down now.
  8. maybe if my lap times were within 112% of yours.
  9. Thanks, J. I am looking at '06-'07 gsxr 600/750s. Just want to upgrade into something a bit newer. More parts and options for them methinks. And I figure now would be the best time to maximize my ROI the current ride. If it doesn't sell for what I would like, I certainly won't be broken hearted. Just taking a flyer to see what I can see.
  10. Yeah, I saw ya there, ya dork. Spreading the lbts/glws to the other forums, LOL.
  11. Keith Stone there went through bikes like Ted Kennedy through D.C. hookers.
  12. Not to worry, fellow track junkies, I am just looking to change into something a little sexier. But I am making the recently finished and successfully tested track bike project available for the right amount of dead presidents. It's on the NESBA forum for $4200, but any OR guy can have it for $4k even. Here's the specs: 14,995 miles Stock motor & ECU Full Yosh RS-3 CF race exhaust (slightly modified for length) 520 DID chain with JT CS and Driven sprockets (-1/+1) Motion Pro Revolver quick-turn throttle Vortex clip ons OSF Rear sets Puig double bubble screen Hotbodies bodywork with suspersport tail & stock seat Galfer SS front lines Vesrah RJL front pads K&N Air Filter Michelin Pilot Power tires The details (for those that don't know): I bought the bike, sans tank and bodywork out of Canton, OH. Bike does not have a title as it was purchased from a police impound lot. I have the junk motor vehicle affidavit from the OBMV and the Akron Police Department, so its legit, but bill of sale will have to do. It was bone stock, and the motor sound and strong. Added the go fast goodies myself and have receipts for everything installed. Meticulously built this bike from the ground up. Paint job is a Krylon special. Not painted to impress, just to keep it from being all white. It has run two track days at PIRC since completion, and come home safe and strong each session. Plenty of days left in the tires, and the front pads were installed just prior to the latest track day (6/30), along with Water Wetter. (Ran Engine Ice for the first TD.) For the rear sets, I have a complete second set of hardware, save for the mounting bracket to the bike itself, and the heel guards. But there's two additional shift bars (one for std and one for GP shift), levers, tips, etc...everything you'd need down to the shims for replacement. This bike runs well, runs strong, and has started every single time I have thumbed the starter. You can pull this off the trailer and run it tomorrow! Aski r1crusher, madcat, J_Copeland about it. It's only slow because I am the one piloting it. Would love for a fellow Ohio Rider to give this gal a good home!
  13. It was great putting new faces with names here, and had a good time yesterday. Jeff, you're welcome for any help and hope to run with you in I next time out. I wasn't incredibly pleased with my on-track performance yesterday, but the times are coming down. Got a big lesson in dealing with traffic, and how that has to improve for me. Still need to get on the gas more in some places, but did improve there, thanks to the OR guys and their help as always. Jen, hope you're good to go today and best of luck! That goes for the rest of our gang racing!
  14. I've been eyeballing the weather in anticiaption of PIRC tomorrow, and saw the huge storm rolling through our state. Glad you made it home unscathed!
  15. If the lowest he'd go is $1800, I'd tell him no thanks. Just my $.02. You can find much newer tech for that kind of money.
  16. Now that you mention it, I do recall us having part of this conversation once before. Guess I am having a senior moment. You gonna be at Beaver this weekend?
  17. Holy fuck I can't wait to get back on the track tomorrow!! This work day can't end fast enough!
  18. More cushion for the pushin' baby!:sex: Sorry...I didn't mean to ghey up the OP's thread. But on the subject of extenders, I myself need to employ said appliances when I get the forks done in the offseason. Providing I don't sell the blue waffle and upgrade to newer bike technology.
  19. That sucks, and from what I heard is extremely painful. My mother in law had a similar fracture falling in my kitchen a few years back. She spent 8 weeks not putting any weight on that leg. Hope you heal well and quickly!
  20. (as can also be found in the other thread) I work near where Brian lives. I'll PM you my cell to give to him and we'll work something out for me to get what you need between now and the weekend.
  21. I work near Brian. I can arrange to get with him between now and the weekend. Let me know how I can help.
  22. Sorry to see you parting with it, but commend your thought process. Atta boy, dad! Bump for a good dude with a clean machine. I have ridden with knicks a few times, and this is a nice bike!
  23. There isn't enough greybar justice available to right his wrongs. Fuck that old man dry and flaky, and keep him on suicide watch so he doesn't get out of this easy.
