  1. Yes, shitstain. I will be your loud, sexy backmarker...wait...you're on the Ninja. Check that. You can tell me after the first tow session if my pipes make my ass look big.
  2. Good stuff here, jbot! Slinging the RC back and forth is a workout, but fun as shit, even for a chubby bastard like me. Stoked to see you cats, too. Maybe next season Kev and I will have enough seat time and $$$ to be racing a time or two.
  3. Thanks guys, for the honest input. r1 knows my riding ability about as well as anyone, and I do feel comfortable with an open pace. The mentor thing sounds great, so this helps a lot!
  4. Dunno....might do novice here, since it's a new school and new track. per the MS website, I can potentially bump up to Open should I be able to prove myelf and there is room. Will decide by the time I get home tonight and drp my $160.
  5. If'n you guys don't mind, me and r1crusher are gonna take this one in. He did BR last year and raved about how much fun the circuit is. So I am stoked!
  6. This one seriously LBTS.
  7. Man, I have been buried in work and family stuff so much the past couple days I missed this. Jeff, you're absolutely in my thoughts and prayers right now, and I hope to see you healed up soon. Like many other guys here, I have been a benefactor of your generosity. Brian, thanks for getting this out there.
  8. Shingina!! I wanna stick mah dick in it!
  9. ^^This FTMFW!! Dogs can't look up.
  10. A close bud has a '99 SH and has had two r/r failures, one on the OEM, one on a replacement aftermarket once from Electrosport. ES replaced his bad one for free, and I think he's still running that one. However I will get him hip to the Yamaha mod. Cheers!
  11. First off, much love an' respect to all the folks that chimed in here. I appreciate it. At work I started thinking about what Jeff said, so when I got home from the office I pulled the FI codes. 8 blinks = throttle pos sensor. Fack. So tore the top half of the bike off, read the wires through the sensor to the ECU and the circuit was fine but was still popping the code. Finally got it to fire off by twisting the wick while thumbing the starter and then it died, dash and all. Double fack. Ticking the wires and found a short in a ground wire back towards the ECU and (knock on wood) it's running tight and tidy now. So methinks it was a combination of the ground short and a sticky TPS. So I am going to take it out in the AM and romp on it and see what we get. I did manage to entertain the kids, though, with the flames out of the Leo Vince's since the TBs loaded up with fuel. Again, thanks to for the help here, gang!
  12. Should mine be toast, I will shoot you a PM. You are pretty much in the back yard.
  13. It's symptoms are eerily simialr to ones that I was helping troubleshoot before with a friend who has a superhawk. The battery is holding plenty of charge, but it's the system is not making enough juice to get the engine going completely. I have the complete t/s chart to go through when I get home. (Just didn't have the time last night.) There is the outside chance that it's the stator, too. The battery is a gel cell that is 10 months old. I'd like to think that's not the culprit. (Then again, that would be the easiest to replace.) Thanks for all the contributions guys. I will post up more of the exact needs once I can get home and work the whole mess. you guys rock!
  14. Hey gang. Got a nasty suspicion my R/R on the 51 is going, going... I have to do some diagnostics when I get home, but having helped a friend thru this before, I think this is where I am gonna end up. Shitty thing is, I have a charity ride scheduled for Sunday that I really don't want to miss. So if anyone has any lines on getting one sometime tomorrow if necessary, I'd love to be pointed that direction. Cheers, mates! RVT
  15. Japan, Korea, Austrailia.
  16. I did seven in The Corps. Were it not for me desire to procreate and spoil this Earth with my seed and breed, I might have done 20. And I give the lifers much respect. A very good friend from H.S. is getting ready to retire in a year or so and left for Navy boot camp the same day I left for Parris Island. Extremely proud of him, but proud of my time as well. But if you raise your right hand, took the oath and lived it, then you have my respect as a vet, any and all service. Semper Fi
  17. This is why you're mah ninja! Wish I could make this one. You guys have fun and bring everyone home.
  18. Thought I would string these together for those that hopped on the thread after page one.
  19. We are riding through the Metroparks starting at Rocy River H.S. I think we end up in Cuyahoga Falls sometime between noon and 1 PM.
  20. I took my 10 year old son out for his first ride two years ago, just around the neighborhood and such. Then last year we took some rides out to friends homes that didn't require highway travel. I agree it's dependent upon the young rider's capachity to understand what and why they are to do what they do. Zach has known me to ride his entire life, and has spent countless hours with me in the garage, time at the races at Mid OH, and watching any m/c show we can find asking questions all the while. If he didn't get it, he'd have yet to ride with me.
  21. I am doing a charity ride that day for the Pediatric Brain Tumor foundation. But depending on where and when that ends up, I might try and catch up with you guys. I'll keep an eye on the thread and see where it goes.
  22. Duuuuuuude! A Susuki Ninja would worth a LOT more than $1800, since it's most likely a one-off prototype. I am calling that guy right nao!
  23. ..which is between 14,728 rpm and 15,241. Everything else is just sucking air. But please go back to picking Justin. Each hit makes him grow up just a little more.
  24. I would like the two minutes and five seconds of my life back. Especially if I ever get the chance to have sex with a supermodel, since it would last exactly the same amount of time.
