  1. I'd probably come straight down 11 if i were in a hurry, so yeah
  2. I might be interested... haven't done sharon yet
  3. Route is important, but i think the people are most important... pace should be discussed, that way people aren't surprised when they show up on a s1000rr and get stuck doing a parade ride with a bunch of old wingers, or just as bad show up with a passenger and a busa trying to keep up/catch up on an uncle punk ride... Destination probably matters least, but it does give some false sense of purpose to the whole thing.
  4. Consider me corrected... Guess I got some bad information...not that it applies to me as I never drive after I've been drinking.
  5. Camping out at a bar looking for dui is considered entrapment...
  6. them old twinstars are great learner bikes as long as the wheel bearings aren't shot....
  7. entrapment... apparently, they also ride vrods like crazy... vrods first drag footpeg, then exhaust bolts, then radiator shrouds...
  8. THIS Personal installment loan, then find a smoking deal and pay them cash. problem solved.
  9. rebel 250 is on the lighter side of my suggestion, I'd say anything up to a shadow 750 would be beginner suitable, viragos, stars, etc...
  10. All of the motorcycle dealers I'm aware of don't even do installment loans on used bikes.. if you come in and apply for financing, what you are actually applying for is a credit card...
  11. i have nothing to add... question answered
  12. light-middleweight cruisers are great options for girls and short people... low seat height, and torquey engines make them beginner friendly.
  13. cx500 there is one in richmond heights the guy wants 800 for, or there is just a frame in huron for 200...
  14. definitely scour for an elise, it's already engineered to be awesome, and would draw a way bigger crowd for being way more rare and exotic...
  15. oh jesus, just take the skills test... I did it on a 77 CB750 with a full windjammer fairing the first time (17) and I did it on the XX last time (after losing my license) the zx-9 should be a cake walk. take the course, too if you want, but it's just so easy to pass their obstacle course.
  16. I know that guy, he's crazy on that thing, dave used to be pretty crazy too...
  17. they have to wear helmets, too... but most of them at bike nights don't so I doubt they care about the position of the sun.
  18. Looks fun... I know a guy who tunes WRX's and STI's, claims he can squeeze another 50 hp from stock running premium fuel...
  19. Made yahoo's front page!! http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/search-world-strangest-rat-rod-ends-knoxville-craigslist-152856762.html although the writer seems to think pontiac made the oldsmobile alero...
  20. no, dilates the blood vessels causing the core heat to come to the surface,(makes you feel hotter) causing you to sweat, and actually making you colder (this is why it's a bad idea to drink if you're at risk for hypothermia, it drops your core temp.) still a stupid idea, as the first thing to go is "judgement" and IMO that is one of the core competencies for riding, good judgement.
