HD may be overrated, but I can't watch standard definition without getting annoyed at the blur, and I can't watch analog without getting a headache from all the graininess. now if you want to go into 720p/1080i/1080P I can't see a difference unless the screens are side by side showing the same program. Go into a bose store, and ask to participate in their demonstration. the people at the beachwood store were more than happy to do a demo for us, even though we really had no intention to buy, it was cool to see the technology, and hear how well it worked.
