  1. tire rack has them for $147 each, a comparable price to the 16's i bought at $130 each. She's definitely getting blizzaks or studded winterforce come winter, already planned on that. Winterforce are $112 each with the studs installed. Yeah, it's the mafia look that has it growing on me... and I do like how the paint sparkles.
  2. 18 I believe... Could be 17, haven't looked that closely.
  3. Yeah, gonna see about this come snow tire season... gotta buy a set of wheels for the snow tires anyway, so might use the aluminums for snows and buy a set of pretties for summer tires. either black or chrome or both...
  4. Yup, rear wheel drive. Had a bit of fun in a snowy parking lot when we got it home sunday. Even got reprimanded by local PD, lol
  5. Oh no, but the interest rate is so much lower than the rendezvous, that it was a wash, even with the little bit they gave for the trade. Net, it added a few years to the loan... but it got rid of that minivan with car doors that proved to be unreliable (intermittent fuel pump issues, heater issues, and electrical gremlins). it got her a vehicle that was on her "wish list" it saved her $50 a month for a couple years. and gave her a warranty/roadside assistance/peace of mind. Got me out of mechanic duty for a while (at least on her vehicle) and while it's not an exciting car by my standards, it is rather comfy to ride in, and there is enough room in the back seat/trunk to take a nap on a long trip or after a night of drinking.
  6. ^This^ Across social and political camps there are the people just waiting to take something you say offensively...
  7. I'm definitely not a mopar guy, but this one is growing on me. 2010 Chrysler 300. Dropped her payment by $50.month vs. her old 03 buick rendezvous. Custom black halo/led/projector/HID tail lights and headlights to come (once i figure out what fits what) Metallic Paint sparkles in the sunlight.
  8. Don't you mean a tooth DOWN in front? I went tooth up in front to set my speedo correct and make first gear useful.
  9. the entirety of the patriot act... that's obviously a republican act... if it were a democrat act it would be the compassionate love for citizens and little children's safety act.
  10. that cat should be named marilyn
  11. my 6th is pretty tall... I doubt it would affect my commute much.. but as i stated in my explanation, first gear would be completely useless.
  12. The cost is just a sprocket that you're gonna replace anyway and a few mpgs. If I didn't have crazy torque already, and a speedo that is driven by the trans, I'd consider gearing down. If you're gonna spend all your time at 10k rpm you may as well get there quicker.
  13. Like hell you can't... You don't even have to ride in a particular direction.
  14. I went up a tooth on the front sprocket, Sets the speedo to correct, and makes first gear useful for more than just power wheelies.
  15. Sure thing... and it only costs 500/yr to lease the chip...
  16. I don't live in a neighborhood, I live on a country road, about a half mile from a state route.
  17. Mine sees 100+ every time I leave my driveway if it's dry out. I wind her out in first second and third, then snap up to 6 and let her coast back down to cruising speed.
  18. 122? not even the top of third gear.
  19. Damn collage kids and political Angels. http://th07.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/f/2013/206/1/d/vote_for_angel_by_eppopinkfangirlxd-d6f340s.jpg
