Thanks, this is basically what my setup is. Problem with auto-tune on my TV is it finds a couple hundred channels, half of which are just black. So I have to sort through those to find the "live" ones. If its time warner and you think about it and could get me the channel for CBS HD I would greatly appreciate it.

If its over the air, its through some big ass antenna on Time Warner's end. The way I understand is analog OTA broadcasts are ending in Feb, not digital. I can definitely get HD without an antenna and without a converter box. Anyone with a ATSC tuner should be able to as well!

I'd be more scared about inducing other chemicals from used buckets...

I am looking for a listing of Time Warner HD channels that can be had using only a built-in ATSC tuner. For example, 74.1 might be NBC HD (its not). Anyone already have their favorites set and care to share?

blemish with lcd off and using flash: blemish with lcd on, no flash, black screen (looks worst on black): The actual "cut" that shows when the lcd is on is about 1/8" or less in length. I wouldnt use this lcd for graphic design, but for your kids, garage, upgrade from CRT... its fine.

still have this, plus another one with a screen blemish. Will sell that one for $50.

I've been using 7 for a while. Overall it has been treating me great. I'd definitely recommend trying it when the full release hits if not sooner. Most apps designed for vista seem to run fine. For file/print sharing, you do need to tweak settings in the "Network and Sharing Center" - by default most discovery and sharing options are off (depending on the network type you choose)

I have TPMS in my car (OEM) and I hate it. If you are running your tires overinflated, it will probably signal the warning light. Might want to check the threshold before buying...

In your device manager, is anything listed under CD/DVD-ROMs? Is the CD-ROM a bay module where you can remove and replace it?
