Honda has been using a water based "chiller" in its plants for a long time now. It does help a hell of a lot, but the humidity remains, and working your ass off inside the factory still yields 8hrs of sweat. Better than most other auto plants for sure though.

I think I sent you off on a tangent. I meant maintenance to my car, which is over 12 years old, not on a hybrid. Cat being one, I am almost sure it is overly restrictive with 170K on the odometer.

I get close to 50... but I paid thousands less for my car (a couple planned maint. items should put me over 50) The better question is how MUCH do you drive. Some on here are in single digits, but if they never leave the house then they spend less on gas than we do.

You can bend a pop can back into shape, but it will never be as strong. On the lip like that, being alloy, the repair costs will be too much to still have a "repaired" wheel. While I think your stats are a bit exaggerated, that is not a point I am trying to make. Fact is I wear my seatbelt in a car about 60% of the time, and helmet on my bike 99% of the time. That is how I chooose to ride/drive. However, if someone else chooses not to, who is the law to take away that right? Where should we draw the line? Perhaps governing bodies should decide what you eat every night too, you know, to keep you safe.

My thoughts exactly. Seatbelt laws are bullshit. I know of a couple people that would have died in their car accidents had they been wearing a seatbelt. Not to start a big argument, but you cannont deny a seatbelt is bad in SOME situations. Leave that choice to the individual. Its always interesting to ask the officer after he hand you a seatbelt ticket.. "You really think a $70 ticket will make me wear this?"

It is. You know how the holidays are. I got nabbed the other day, no front plate (reason for pull over), 35% tint and no seatbelt. Got out of the deal with only a seatbelt ticket, so I am not complaining. . (although it is a bullshit law). I am guessing there is more to your story, or your car sticks out for some reason. I have always had illegal tint, and never been pulled over for that reason alone.
