  1. That's very sweet and thoughtful, but I'm a gal who prefers to be in control ;) Riding on the back is ok, but it's just not the same lol. I definitely won't ride on a sportsbike. Cruiser is ok. (now i'm getting picky)...must have backrest lol. Sounds weird, but if I'm not in control and I'm on the back, I have a fear of falling. You'd think I'd be fine with falling off a bike since I do it all the time anyway lol. I do it when it's not moving though hahahahaha!
well I got all that covered on my bike... you'd fall asleep back there.. lol;) and you can be " in control " anytime you want... ;) ;)
  2. I'm up for a camping trip/weekend. Since my bike is down, I can drive (unless by some miracle my bike gets fixed). If I drive, I can put a lot of crap in my car (tents, coolers, etc.) from those nearby (Columbus area) that wish to go. I will be sad about not riding, but I am determined to go camping soon anyway, so it will scratch that itch.

It doesn't have to be Hocking Hills in my opinion. There are other places like Shawnee State Park. Hills around Portsmouth are crazy and I doubt my bike could get up them anyway. There are group sites available that weekend at Rocky Fork State Park (closer to Cinci) and Lake Hope State Park (closer to Hocking).

    Ideas? Feedback?

i'm sure one of us would have ya on the back seat if you really wanted..;)

  3. While watching I was thinking the same thing, but they were booing Comisar Bettman who, among other misdeeds (mis-guided expansion, two labor lockouts, lousy/mis-guided television rights deals), basically ignores the Canadian teams even though the 6 of them contribute 30%+ of the League's revenue.

Watch any Stanley Cup presentation to any team, entry draft, or anytime Bettman has spoken since 1995 and you'll hear him booed.

What <was> disgusting was the Canadian fans' booing of the Star Spangled Banner throughout the playoffs. :nono:

For that, I say a big :bigfinger: to America's Hat, er, Canada.

***edit: It was nice to see an Original 6 team THAT WAS NOT FROM DETROIT win the cup. Sorry (not really) Moose!

bite me ass-hat... :D at least it wasn't those stinky birds of the pittsbugh variety... and at least we made it into the playoffs for a 20th consecutive time... not many teams can say that.
  4. That night I popped 1000mg ibuprofen and a beer or three. Next morning my entire right side was aching like a SOB! Went to the chiropractor and have been 3x/week.

Sprained left thumb, sprained right ankle, strained back, muscle spasms in back & chest, bruised hip. Was up to 2400mg ibuprofen/day until this week, now down to maybe 1000 a day.

I called the chix insurance company yesterday, and it was the first that they heard of the collision! As of today, they still have not been able to contact her:wtf:

Missed a few days of work, but definitely feeling better. ATGATT is the only reason I'm OK. Rough estimates: parts $3500, gear $1500. If they don't total it, I plan on doing the wrenching myself.

sounds like time to hire a shark attorney... they might be playing the stretch this shit out for years game.... Total BS!!

  5. Hopefully there's enough people. Is there a way of knowing how many teams we have, or how many people are attending? Maybe a poll would help? :dunno:

might not be a bad idea to choose up teams before hand that way when you get there your team is already to go..in years past I think the teams were 10 or so max...

    ;)
