Bad324
since its the first ride for many of us thinking about keeping it short and mostly on well known clean pavement if thats okay with the rest, bad u remember the route we did the last quick ride of fall, how about a little bit extended version of that one? we can be done and be home by 4:00 before the cold sets inWhen we met at the QSL in Canton? You guys don't have to cut short for me or anything, I can always just split off but I just don't wanna get too far south

NinjaDoc
some thing like this, about 100 miles, all these roads we rode towards end of season last year, most in good condition some perfect at that time. All routes starts at waynesburg speedway, Route 1 : decent roads about 110 miles, including the favorite nice clean stretch of 646 and 799 we can split of at scion http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=OH-183+W%2FWaynesburg+Dr+SE&daddr=OH-542+S%2FLodge+Rd+SW+to:OH-212+E%2FCumberland+Rd+SW+to:OH-164+N%2FAmsterdam+Rd+SW+to:OH-332+S%2FScio-Carrollton+Rd+to:E+Main+St+to:OH-646+E%2FRumley+Rd+E+to:Lincoln+Ave+to:N+Main+St+to:OH-519+W%2FStumptown+Rd+to:S+Philadelphia+St+to:Deersville+Rd+to:E+College+St&hl=en&ll=40.286859,-81.046829&spn=0.402266,0.614548&sll=40.349553,-81.137981&sspn=0.100473,0.153637&geocode=FWirbAIdJQ4o-w%3BFeotagIduAQo-w%3BFX4yaQIdxeIo-w%3BFa9xaQId75gq-w%3BFfuUaAIdUncq-w%3BFRpfaAIdosAq-w%3BFXOtaAIdjLYs-w%3BFdeJZgId5Aws-w%3BFVkwZQIdRBos-w%3BFT6qZQIdLZcq-w%3BFeuOZQIdO_cn-w%3BFU8nZwIdkhwq-w%3BFRZXaAIdu74q-w&mra=mi&mrsp=12&sz=13&t=m&z=11Route 2: i like this route since some very nice roads like 151 and 152 in there in addition to the good parts of 646 9 and 250 which were clean last year end. about 132 miles, we end up close to carrolton route 39, easier for us to split off, much more northwards. http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=OH-183+W%2FWaynesburg+Dr+SE&daddr=OH-542+S%2FLodge+Rd+SW+to:OH-212+E%2FCumberland+Rd+SW+to:OH-164+N%2FAmsterdam+Rd+SW+to:OH-332+S%2FScio-Carrollton+Rd+to:E+Main+St+to:OH-646+E%2FRumley+Rd+E+to:Lincoln+Ave+to:US-250+E+to:Smithfield+St+to:Main+St+to:40.324079,-80.901252+to:US-22+E+to:40.3599528,-80.8041499+to:40.3917726,-80.7827338+to:E+Main+St+to:S+Main+St+to:OH-524+N%2FBergholz+Rd+NE%2FUpper+North+Fork+of+Yellow+Creek&hl=en&ll=40.586842,-80.735779&spn=0.80095,1.229095&sll=40.554505,-80.909157&sspn=0.200335,0.307274&geocode=FWirbAIdJQ4o-w%3BFeotagIduAQo-w%3BFX4yaQIdxeIo-w%3BFa9xaQId75gq-w%3BFfuUaAIdUncq-w%3BFRpfaAIdosAq-w%3BFXOtaAIdjLYs-w%3BFdeJZgId5Aws-w%3BFQnzZAIdNQ0u-w%3BFcZuZQIdU4Qv-w%3BFRGFZgIdAWgv-w%3BFe9LZwIdfIst-ylDHF9x04Y2iDGCLbZG35pqZg%3BFWuLZwIdWbAu-w%3BFRDYZwIdywYv-yndl-Up5Sk0iDEOnLtGPrLerw%3BFVxUaAIdc1ov-ykDHxDcsik0iDEAfnmFJy8JZQ%3BFXf2aAIdgoQv-w%3BFRGOaQIdIzMt-w%3BFRbKawIdrsQs-w&mra=mi&mrsp=17&sz=12&via=11,13,14&t=m&z=10Route 3: shortest among the three at 85 miles, but still very sweet ride and puts up way back up north close hanoverton in route 9 and 30 again easier to split off. This will be very ideal if temps tend to remain close to 50 instead of 60, so we can start a little bit late and end early while the sun still shines. http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=OH-183+W%2FWaynesburg+Dr+SE&daddr=OH-542+S%2FLodge+Rd+SW+to:OH-212+E%2FCumberland+Rd+SW+to:OH-164+N%2FAmsterdam+Rd+SW+to:OH-332+S%2FScio-Carrollton+Rd+to:E+Main+St+to:OH-646+E%2FRumley+Rd+E+to:S+Main+St+to:OH-524+N%2FBergholz+Rd+NE%2FUpper+North+Fork+of+Yellow+Creek+to:Salineville+Rd+W+to:OH-9+S&hl=en&ll=40.717599,-80.940056&spn=0.199846,0.307274&sll=40.722022,-80.908298&sspn=0.099916,0.153637&geocode=FWirbAIdJQ4o-w%3BFeotagIduAQo-w%3BFX4yaQIdxeIo-w%3BFa9xaQId75gq-w%3BFfuUaAIdUncq-w%3BFRpfaAIdosAq-w%3BFXOtaAIdjLYs-w%3BFRGOaQIdIzMt-w%3BFRbKawIdrsQs-w%3BFUvXawIdhl4u-w%3BFeCQbQIdxLUs-w&mra=mi&mrsp=10&sz=13&t=m&z=12 Edited April 2, 2013 by NinjaDoc

ludwb675
Do you guys trailer the bikes down or just ride from wherever to Canton, ride for 2-3 hours and then ride home?I can't make this ride but i just don't think i could handle that much riding anyways. Bad324
its only an hour slab to the meet spot which is about my max and I don't think anyone has ever trailered to the meet spot for any of our NEO type rides
Gixxus Christ!
Did he just ask what I think he asked? If you can't handle a 250-300 mile day on your bike maybe you should find something more comfortable, like a pink vw Beatle.Bustin chops. Hailwood
600 or 700 miles in a day is about my limit.+1I consider anything over 300 a good day, and right around 400 to be ideal. It takes some time to get used to riding those distances, but once you get used to it, it's all you'll want to do. It's about 70 miles each way of boring highway to get to any roads that are worth riding on a sport bike (read twisty and not a lot of traffic). Once you get to the decent roads you might as well spend a little time having fun. Riding good twisty roads is actually less tiring than droning on the hwy, but you need to work up to the long days. YMMV.

This being in a cold day season beginning ride that why restricted miles. But no worries at all, once you start riding, you gonna get hooked and the miles fade away, u just wanna keep riding don't be intimidated by the numbers, just jump out and experience it, then only you will be able to decide whtr good bad or worse
Kent2406
I trailer to Bolivar. That 5 minutes it takes me to get there from home, is rough!I love the Bolivar meet spot!!!!!
ludwb675
I never had anyone to ride with before and then it was on a ninja 250R. I think the most miles i put on in a day is like 100.
RHill
The only NEO'er I've known to trailer to Bolivar was Jinu...and we all know what kind of cunt he can be.I've considered it....if it was any further of a slab, I probably would. Straight slabs are like torture. If it was twisties on the way there, I'd ride 2 hours down and back and be the whole way.Edit: Never really thought of it, if someone from Cleveland wants to trailer down and split gas, I'd be game.
