i got a new toy.

i was really looking for a CRF450R or x, but my buddy decided to make me a good deal on his 07 CRF250R. He bought it new in 09 as a left over. He rode it a whopping 5 hours. I serviced the bike, oil changes, fork seals and fluid, etc while he owned it. He has 3 kids now and doesnt ride anymore. He is also parting with a 400ex and a trx450R if anyone wants one.

so anyways... like i said he made me a hell of a deal, and i couldnt pass it up. snagged it up and the parts buying began.

i built it to ride down at CRP, but i also bought some street lighting, and other sprockets to ride the street if i desired, or a larger track.

i didnt pick up a stator to run the lighting yet, cause i wanna feel out the bike first to see if i even want to ride it on the street. its pretty high strung and a little underpowered for a street machine, but might be fun at deals gap or some roads i know back home that i can haul it back with me when i go to see my parents. But it will be street titled just because i can.

its insured already, and its funny as hell... $34 a year for full coverage with a $250 deductible hahah.

back on topic... here is the parts break down.

Warp9 black wheels with red hubs, 17x3.5 front and a 17x4.25 rear (wanted to go 5" but its a pain in the ass to get a 5" wheel in the swing arm, and you have to offset the spokes, etc etc.. so easier to do the 4.25" rear)

Conti Attack SM tires 120/70/17 front 150/60/17 rear

EBC 320mm full floating rotor and caliper bracket

Wave rear rotor

EBC MXS pads

Moose Stainless front brake line

14T front sprocket, 47T rear sprocket, RK gold non oring chain (for the small tracks)

14T front, 42T rear, DID Gold Oring chain (for street or big tracks)

Polisport Halo Headlight

Acerbis Supermoto front fender

UFO SM footpeg sliders

DIY axle sliders (gonna be having Erache from the board make me some on his lathe when i get some time to take measurements)

Trail Tech Vapor

Renthal Kevlar Dual compound Road Race Grips

and i have Moose Dflex handguards on the way

i did clean the carb out and change the oil as it had sat for 8 months.

runs really strong, and will find out how it does at the track tomorrow.
