Didn't know if I should get the standard holder or not Yea without the white light lighting up the plate, driving at night, it wouldn't technically be legal, and being bent, LEOs could give you a hard time. Unlikely anything serious will happen, and if you are insured and licensed, don't worry about it. And yea, what your sister said, get an appointment to attend the MSF course and take it seriously.
