Good....Great....Preferably Excellent Gunsmith in NE Ohio

Does anyone know of a Good....Great.....or Excellent Gunsmith in the Northeast Ohio area...Cleveland, Akron, Mentor, Painesville, or similar such areas?

I have a few things I need done and won't trust the pieces to just the average hack that one finds at most of the shops. I guess the way I would put it is this....would you take your most valuable piece to them and have them work on it without any trepidations or concern.

Rich at b&t in middleburg hts is good, had him do sights on one of my guns came back without a mark on it and he cleaned and oiled it for me.

What are you looking to get done?

 

Remember that some smiths only focus on certain types of work. For any modifications related to 700's, Howas, etc, I would suggest Mark Gordon at Short Action Customs as he is the best around. He does not do restoration, shotguns, pistols etc as his primary focus is on the precision rifle market.
