JohnnyB
My son and I rode the bike to our weekly guys dinner out. Got hammered on the way home. Rain drops felt like hail at 60mph. The bike needed cleaned up anyway. All good. JB
thatsquid00
Got caught in the rain twice in one day. Poured. I got stupid looks from people doing 70 down 62 trying to get home crouched behind my tiny windshield which did nothing.
Calinazaret
Drove my car yesterday. Got passed on the freeway by a guy on an R1 who had to be going like 90 or 100. Surprised we didn't read about him in the paper.
smccrory
I got a little of it on my CRF, but it was after the worst.
PhilD'oh!
Yep, rain and close lightning on the way to work last night. Deep enough water on the road and strong enough wind to make the rear tire lose it's line a couple times. That was fun.
Connie14
The key to riding in the rain is an occasional waxing of the face shield and windshield. It works as well as windshield wipers when you are at speed.
Bad324
Just turn your head slightly and the rain drops run off the visor tooYou know you're up shit creek when not only does the rain hurt but so does thick ass fog the entire 70 miles or whatever across a Mountain Edited May 1, 2014 by Bad324
Calinazaret
Just turn your head slightly and the rain drops run off the visor tooIt was a life changing event one morning for me when I discovered this on accident commuting to work in the fog
wagnem10
Just turn your head slightly and the rain drops run off the visor too I hope to never get caught in the rain, but it will inevitably happen, I'm sure. This just might save me in a pinch!
Al Z. Heimer
Last year Doc,Jester and his Bud Tim and myself. Week long Gap trip. Rain...LOTS everyday but one. Rode gas and go only home from the Iron Horse lodge. Mostly slabbed it home but took Rt. 16 down thru WV. Rain sucked ass but will never forget the trip. Was a good time. Ryan_c_F
Yeah, I saw reports of wind gusts approaching 40 mph... decided to leave her in the garage yesterday. That fizzer catches wind like crazy. I feel like it's constantly trying to push its own tires out from underneath itself.
PhilD'oh!
I left Orlando last year and it started pouring 15 minutes out of town and didn't stop until 30 minutes south of Savanah. I was so wet I made a puddle at the front desk of the hotel checking in.
