I have a 1992 GS500 in red and white. Almost 11k miles, clean/clear title. Bike has aftermarket exhaust, sounds great. Bike has had most everything refreshed earlier in the summer; , fork oil, brake fluid flushes, steering head bearings, engine valve checks, fuel lines, throttle/clutch cables.. etc. Tires are older and could probably use a change but its rideable as is. Its not the prettiest bike and has been dropped while standing still, but its small and solid.Could use a little TLC, b. Its my brothers bike, but he's off to college so no time for the bike and its sitting in my garage... Pictures attached, its decent starter/cheap bike with a clean/clear title. Looking for $1100 OBO! Located in Old Brooklyn area of cleveland.

Couldn't talk the wife into it :)

She wants anything with a Repsol graphic, but I'm not about to buy her a cbr-250r until she knows how to ride!  She turned this one down because it's late in the season and it doesn't knock her socks off, visually... but at such a great price, I'm sure it will sell soon if you're patient!

I think it's best if your first bike doesn't blow your

skirt up, visually.  The likelihood of your first bike,

unless you have ridden enough of the bikes of

others, remaining upright, and never ending up

laying on the ground on it's side, is remote.

My little GS's first drop was in a parking lot, in a

slow right hand turn, coming to a stop.  Crunch!

2nd one was when parked.  I backed it in and

stayed sitting while sending a text.  Got off, forgot

to put the kickstand down.  Couldn't hold it up.

Layed it down gently on it's side.  Third time was

a slight mishap on the 555, in a slippery turn.

First bike will be subjected to a new rider, still

learning balance and developing starting and

stopping skills, along with taking curves.  Don't

punish an innocent, unblemished bike by subjecting

it to a new rider.  It will give the owner a very

uncomfortable feeling in the pit of their stomach

at the sound of a crunch.  "Oh, my poor baby,

it has become scuffed!  What have I done?"

Don't worry, there's no way in hell she's getting a new bike :) I actually don't think she'll ever end up riding, which is fine with me... I'd worry too much  Unless we buy a bike made for two-up and go on trips together, but I'd want something that can 2-up comfortably, and honestly, to me... that sounds like a car :p
