Steve Butters
Lumberjack fuckers.... My Irish blood prevents a thick beard like that unless I grow it out long... If I shave it short like yours it looks anemic... Blonde and red mess lol
Hoblick
Ordered up some beard care products today, interested to see how these work. Edited November 11, 2014 by Hoblick
Steve Butters
I had an unfortunate accident where the extension slipped off my clippers about 6wks ago whole trimming up for job interview... Took a chunk out.. Wasn't too noticeable so I figured maybe it would grow out.. The longer it got, the worse it looked since the hair started going different ways due to length... Ended up just having to trim it all down... Now it's pretty short, but it's even all around so should grow back nice

jdonn
Is that balm fiber based? I was reading that if you want to tame the hair that has wings, use product like American Crew Fiber
oldschoolsdime92
I use these guys pomade almost daily, I've not used their beard products but hear good things...http://suavecitopomade.com
Hoblick
also ordered a boar hair bristle brush and pine tar soap from lucky scruff today. figured it was time to get a good brush since my beard is starting to get a decent growth now
Mykill
So far I'm impressed with Cliff's. The soap is so nice. Agreed. Love that soap. I will keep using it even when/if the beard gets trimmed back down
Hoblick
I bought a comb, but not a brush. Should I get a brush? Does it matter? The new products have really made a difference in appearance and comfort. Before, I would have already shaved because of the itch and annoyance. That's not an issue, so far.just from what I've read, a boar hair bristle brush helps distribute your natural oils, helps remove dead skin cells, stimulates the follicles, its a firmer bristle so it helps remove dirts, dust from your beard, and also aids in training your beard to grow in a direction you want. aside from the benefits of it taming, untangling and polishing the hair. they say for beards under an inch of growth go with a soft bristle, for beards over an inch get a firm. i ordered a firm. Hoblick
I got mine from luckyscruff.comThe brush and pine tar soap was $17 shipped. The brush got really good reviews, so I figured I'd give it a shot, think the brush was only like $10.If it sucks, I'll order a Zeus or one from beard baron. Mykill
Brush is only supposed to be used once a day I read somewhere. Something about being hard on the hair if used too often. The comb can be used more often... I could be wrong. I'll be getting a brush and comb soon.

The ladies love a soft beard.
oldschoolsdime92
I've gotten a bit out if control lately though. Been hangin out at the barber shop a bit. Razor cut part, skin tight fade.

Gixxus Christ!
There's a difference between looking manly and looking like a derelict. If you had hair on your head would you let it grow wild or would you at least brush it into some semblance of order?
Mykill
All this foo foo shit is giving me a better looking beard...and the lady likes the smell. Glad I started using it. Steve Butters
Oiled comb over, shaved sides, grizzly beard... You look confused bubby. Yes I'd brush head hair - and beard hair.
