Tonik
You'll never be in a situation where it will make a damn bit of difference. You don't think there is a difference in ride quality? Or is that more a factor of quality/brand rather than bias/radial?
whaler
Radial has better ride, better control of tire shape over bumps. and during lean angle. This all equates to better traction, control and feel. Also, a radial will not follow road groves like bias ply tires. Bias are better than they use to be, but not at the level of radial tires. The only advantage I see from bias is they tend to get more mileage compared to equivalent radials.

2talltim
Radials its all about handling and yes you can tell a diffeence. My wifes 98 shadow and her current vstar both had bias on them when we bought them. And both transformed the handling greatly when I put radials on them. I put Pirelli route 66 tires on her vstar and for handling and milage I think they are the most under rated tire out there for a cruiser
