I'm looking for 5 - 235/75R16 (or 245/75R16) to put on my Jeep project and have a self imposed budget of $500. There are a few local options for used tires but if possible, I'd rather buy new. Given that this TJ will see little, if any off-road activity, a less aggressive tread would be fine. max power Posted February 2, 2016 Report Share Posted February 2, 2016 I put a set of Firestone ATX on our suburban about five years ago and I'm very impressed with them. They are wearing well and have really good snow traction. They were 500 bucks at the time. Probably no more now since oil prices are in the shitter.
