What's going on guys. Hoping to meet some people and find some rides in my area. I'm only 17 but try to be mature and responsible when it comes to riding. I took the Ohio course last year and bought a 2009 klx250sf motard as my first bike this winter. I rode to and from highschool everyday I could and put about 700 miles on it so far, but am hoping to do way more this summer.

Welcome aboard. Major kudos for taking the course and not buying a sport bike for your first bike. I highly recommend taking the advanced riders course also.

Check out G&J go cart track. The klx is a blast on that track, it's good cheap fun.

That bike is on my short list of bikes to add to the stable. Would love to pick one up someday. Speed definitely isn't the most important part of riding.

Welcome to the forum.  Good choice on a first bike.  It's cheap to insure, maintain, and repair.  You're going about things the right way from the start
