Automotive paint Bubbys get in here.

Got a pretty good deal on this mechanically pristine 97 Acura TL for my daughter this weekend but it's a Texas car and has some paint problems from its days cooking in the Sun. Older inexpensive car I don't want to spend a lot of money on it but would like to get the paint to look better than it does. Looks like it's just in the clear coat but I'm no paint expert like to see what my price options are to get it repaired. I know some of y'all have commented on my Facebook post but I figured I'd post here and see if anybody else that I'm not Facebook friends with has to say. It's a dark blue paint and it's just on the hood, top and the trunk lid. Paint on the side of the car looks fine.

Imnsho, any decent honest painter is going to say it all has to come off, at the very least every panel you want repaired. If you don't you are painting over an area the is bound to peel later.
