No, these have a glass pack in them and a perforated diffuser plate so should lower the noise a bit....but the baffles are removable so they could be very loud. Turns out my dad's bike which is an 85 has different mufflers and the pipes come out of the collector at a weird angle which is then corrected by the opposite weird angle in the mufflers to make them straight. Also, the stub of pipe is somewhere between 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 so the supplied reducer shims wouldn't work and we had to make one out of beer cans. Looks like fucking shit. Gixxus Christ! Posted September 13, 2017 Author Report Share Posted September 13, 2017 Ok, wiring harness is on, new air box is on, new starter relay is on. Bike starts right up now.
