Where it all started

This is where the touring bug hit me hard. This was 10 years ago packed up and ready to ride to Deals Gap for the first time. Can't believe it wasn't all that long ago and now i have probably 90k miles under my belt and so much more of a rider than i was then.28277.jpeg

To the old connie that you all know pretty well. I seriously can't explain how much I love this bike. I can honestly say ive never loved a personal posession anymore in my life than i do with this turd. This bike has kept my sanity intact and my passions alive.

Hopfully you see this tandem more next year.  Think I've got the mrs. amped up a little to try some light touring next year on the Injun. She wants to make the gap trip next year and think she might ride it down(maybe) 20190728_141646.thumb.jpg.3064a725d6a7a25622753d41e580439a.jpg

And this is where the motocycle thing began at first. In 1998 i bought this 1990 GSXR 750 all because my buddy let me take a spin on his 94 Katana 600 at a bbq. When we bought our house in 01 i sold it for financial reasons. Till i bought the TL in 2007

I enjoyed everyone of my bikes. But I can honestly say (now)I don't care to have any of them back. There isn't really anything out on the market that i'm lusting over either. If I would wad up my C14 today I would probably just go get another one and set it up the exact same way.

Only one I regret selling was my dad's vmax... But I love my current bike and have no plans to ever get rid of it... If I wadded it up tho I'd grab something different, just because why not? Nice to try new bikes and see what's out there. Then again, I've never had a bike with abs and tc and all that stuff bikes come with now. Maybe if I already did I'd feel differently. I like those ridiculous kawasakis with 200+ hp, except for being ugly bitches. I'd like to add an FJR or Multi some day.

I have always wished to have bikes back at some point but if I could find my old F4i I’d love to have it back, being my first bike. I didn’t have the skill set I have now to ride it to it’s potential and I think it would have been fun on the gap.
