iwishiwascool
Evo owners are funny. Check the intercooler pipes. One is no longer connected. We call that a "boost leak" in the game, not a "blown motor".
Guest salad 419
Here's a short vid. http://www.ohiosubaru.com/video/CarFire.wmv And then a TON of pics that take place after the vid. http://clubwrx.net/forums/showthread.php?t=101607&page=1&pp=20 Rumor has it that the car was from Showdown Motorsports in Toledo. AND....another rumor is that he was talkin' smack about Buschur and his parts all day.
iwishiwascool
You missed the "Pics and vids" section where these were posted already. It isnt a rumor that the car was from Showdown... since it definitely was.

Edit: Having just talked to him... Said something about a vaccum hose. Car is supposedly fixed, getting picked up tonigh.

Rally Red Evo
Had that happen once. Evo's are very prone to it unless you tighten the crap out of the clamps from the factory or change over to a good t-bolt clamp.

Nitrous isnt flammable on it's own, it has to mix with a flammable substance inwhich it produces an oxygen rich environment. it was more than likely a torn fuel line and from the vid i'd say the pump was still running from the tank. iwishiwascool
The real cause was posted... elsewhere. The aeromotive fuel rail separated. No nitrous back-fire.
