Yeah, if they make it somewhat like the cars I grew up loving, with a name plate to match.

It seems to be working for Mopar. Their current FWD lineup consists of what, the Neon and minivans?

It sounds like they are going to be years late and dollars short. People want these now, not in 2009. With all the "downfall" GM is having, I am surprised that they are so slow to act.

Don't know if anybody else cares, but Pontiac may be killing off the the Bonnevile, the oldest continuously produced name plate in the world. Yes the Vette is older, but they skipped a few years here and there. The Bonneville has been in production at all times since it was introduced as an option package in 1956.

GM is moving in a generally good direction, especially Cadillac, but along the way, they have made a few stunningly BAD decisions. The death of Oldsmobile, the demise of the F-body, and that pig they call the SSR.

-The camaro will be made

-It will suck

-A few hardcore people will love it to death anyways

-They wont eb able to afford it, as it will be worth more then their trailers.

-Therefore no one will buy them

-The program will be cut.

There simply isn't a market for that right now. The Holden/gto is a sweet car, but you dont see them all over the place...why? Because not many people who want them can afford them. GM's faultering, they dont pull the capitol they used to. They need to market new cars to the yuppie fucks who will buy...er, lease them in droves.

Personaly though, I'm in favor of a smaller RWD platform with high output lil engines.
